Hello readers! Thank you for choosing my book. I know it may not be a good one but this is me at 3am with no ideas lmaoo. Well, this is not a chapter but more of a ss. (Short Story). All in 3rd person. Oh and, no I'm not using Ace or Kai or even Brianna. Instead, I'll be using my own name. Vee. This is a fiction. Didn't happen.

Vee awoke, blinking harshly at the morning light shining through her window. She checked her phone. 8:00 a.m. She didn't have to worry about school, since it was a Saturday. So instead, she rises up and makes her way to her closet. She picks out her casual wear: Black tee with some leggings and her checkered Vans. She put her hair up in her iconic low ponytail. She makes her way to the kitchen and makes a bowl of cereal. After that, she heads out for a walk.
- It's currently 6 P.M. Vee has had a long day and started to make her way back to her house. Suddenly, it started to rain. She loved the rain, but not today since she decided to wear makeup. She looked around and there was nowhere with cover, so she just went to a nearby bus stop. *muffled rain sound* She looked to her side to see her best friend holding a umbrella over her head. She could feel her face get hot as she thanked the friend. They sat there for a while before Vee made her way to get up and leave. As she walked away she felt a hand on her shoulder, the grip was gentle but enough to make her stop walking. She turned around, face to face with the friend. They held out the umbrella for Vee to take. By now, she was a whole damn tomato.
"Take it, the rain won't stop for another couple hours." The friend spoke in a kind, gentle voice. She grabbed the umbrella, thanked the friend, and ran the other way.
'Time skip a couple months because I have no time for this lol'
Vee was on top of a rooftop, the umbrella her friend gave her months ago by her side. She had put a letter in the friends locker/cubby earlier. It stated;
Hey [friend], If you could meet me at xxx rooftop in a couple minutes, that would be lovely. I have something important to state to you. If Idon't confess soon,I'm afraid it will draw us apart. -Vee
The friend suddenly, yet as expected, walked through the door to the stairs. Noticing Vee sitting on the edge of the roof, looking out over the night sky. [Can we pretend that airplanes-]
"What did you need to tell me Vee?" The friend spoke in a slight stutter. Feeling their face get warm. Vee rose from her spot and turned to face the friend staring back at her. She spoke in a calm, yet unsure voice.
"I called you up here to tell you... I've liked you. For, a very long time. I can't express how much I wanna be with you. I'm afraid that if I don't tell you now that I'll ruin our friendship. It's okay if you don't like me back, I just wanted to know if maybe...you would date me."
...
"Yes." The friend spoke. "I feel the exact same, I have loved you for the longest time. I would love to be in a relationship with you. "
Vee felt tears rise to the surface. They came pouring out as she ran in to hug her now lover. After everything she's been through, she has never been happier.
