chapter 13-a year later! sleep OVER!!

Asuna's POV

I definetly knew that (y/n) was going to be cupid but i didnt know she was going to be a little over board with it. I know she wants to see everyone happy but she may have forgotten that things dont turn out as they are planned.

She asked us to kiss, and kirito seemed to be okay with it and kissed me. Being unaware that i had my face as red as a tomato. She still didnt want us to let go! She liked us here, alone together. I was a liitle happy that she has smiled, however, a dark hand covered her mouth and she was out of sight, blocked my thoughts.

I ran to the door and i tried to break it open but i forgot we got the strongest wooden door. I seached for at least a paper clip to at least unlock the door knob. The windows were shut and (y/n) only knew how to open them.

I have been rummaging through a drawer until i finally found a small paper clip lying around. This has been the second time she has actually been captured, and by orange players! I stuck the paper clip in the key hole and tried to unlock the door.

Finally two minutes later, the door funally decided to unlock itself and let us out. I took out my tracking device and have been tracking (y/n). The person still seemed to be walking or running to their hideout.

Kirito has been running behind me, completely lost on where she has been going. He has been thinking that we have been walking in circles. The person finally stopped moving and i started running to where they were.

I felt like i needed a suprise attack much rather than an attack where the person knew you were following. When i finally reached the place, i started having doughts. Eerie sounds echoed loudly as the dark surface made figures itself, and not very pleasent ones.

I walked in holding kirito's arm tightly as we started to head in. Rats have been signaling the others of intruders and the cocoroaches have been fleeing. I finally came across an empty place with only the light of sun shining on it.

Ive seen only 7 men waiting for us to enter. Waiting for the right time to attack us. I also saw a chair with a person strugging to get out. I got my sword from my inventory and held it until they attacked.

"Why hello there, why have you walked uopn these floor?" One of the seven men asked.

"I have been, looking for my friend who has been gone not too long ago." I said as i looked around cautiously.

"Oh is it (y/n) here?" Another man asked.

"Yes, may i ask you who you have captured her when she has done nothing?" I asked.

"One of her friends have killed two men from out group while they were having fun." He trailed off. "Do you remember a man named Ben?"

Yes, i clearly do!" I said.

"Well, when he was gone, others stopped talking and some cried. This is our revenge!" He said.

I stook out my sword and i went in position. They couldnt see me very well and i couldnt see them in the darkness. I ran toward the man who has been talking and started scraping the metal parts of his chestplate.

As others running to stop me, kirito helped me fight them off one by one. We knew that this would end with death but we did it to save our friend. (Y/n) still struggling to get out and breath good air.

Other were alive but surrendered and ran away. Really, most of the group ran away so we only killed like 4 peeps. I ran to get (y/n) as kirito stayed there to guared the rest of the area. I felt chills as i thought about others who still lingered.

I took all of the ropes off of (y/n) as she jumped and hugged us both really tight. I was about to sufficate of how strong she has turned after these few months. I felt liquid fall down my neck when i realized that (y/n) was crying.
