"Well that was not something I was expecting to see when I woke up." Mason said, looking down at Grayson and Destiny, who were sleeping in each other's arms.
"Yeah... When Grayson woke me up he said she had a nightmare and he got her, but I didn't think he meant he physically." Colton said, making them all laugh quietly. Although they were dangerously quiet, they had woken Grayson up. He opened his eyes slowly, knowing that the voices he was hearing belonged to the boys and not anyone else.
"Why are you waking me up? Do we have to go?" He asked tiredly, rubbing his face with his hand. It was only like he just realized that Destiny was sleeping on his chest, and he looked down at her with wide eyes. "Oh." He whispered, staring at her. In that moment, he forgot that the boys were watching him, and his shocked face spread into a warm smile and he wrapped his arms around her and held her tighter as she slept.
"Awww." They all cooed together, making Grayson blush.
"Wait, you're blushing!" Mason said, jumping up and down.
Bandit chuckled, putting their hand on his shoulder to stop his jumping. "Babe, shhh..." Mason smiled shyly.
"Oops. But he's blushing!" He whispered excitedly, pointing towards Grayson's rosy cheeks. Bandit's heart swelled and they kissed him on the cheek, smiling lovingly at Mason.
"No I'm not, it's just hot!" He whispered harshly. "It's hot alright..."
Colton laughed through his nose. "Sure, whatever you say. But we gotta get going."
"Alright." Grayson sighed. "Alright. Destiny." He whispered gently, rubbing his hand up and down her back. "Dest, we gotta get going."
"Hmm?" She groaned, barely opening her eyes.
"We gotta get going."
"Okay, just... Just one more minute." She whispered, turning her head into his shoulder. Grayson took a deep breath, accidentally smelling her hair, which smelled weirdly good.
A minute went by far too quickly, and after Grayson reminded Destiny that she needed to get up, she rolled off him and sat up. Waldo stood up from where he was sleeping next to her, and wandered over to Bandit, who started to pet him.
They left fairly quickly, after they gathered up all their stuff and cleaned up a bit. Colton checked on Destiny's shoulder again, which luckily looked better than it did yesterday, and Grayson helped her brush her hair again. They all went to pick up their bags, and Destiny reached down for a bag.
Just like yesterday, Grayson swatted her hand away.
"I swear if you do that again I will cut off your hand in your sleep." She threatened, eyeing him as she leaned down once again.
Mason chuckled. "You know I don't doubt that you'd do that."
"And if you try to pick one up again, I'll throw you over my shoulder instead of a bag." He shrugged, ignoring Mason.
"Bullshit." She dared him. "I'm not having this stupid fight every day! You're carrying like three bags, I can carry one!" She leaned down again.
True to his word, Grayson put down what he was carrying and grabbed her by the waist. He threw her on his shoulder, making her shriek. The boys all laughed, watching as Grayson spun around with her hanging, her hair flying around.
"PUT ME DOWN, ASSHOLE!"
"Nah." He said simply. "Let's go?" He asked, picking up a couple bags, careful not to drop the girl.
"NO, LET'S NOT!"
"Really?" Bandit asked him. "You're not actually gonna-"
"Try me." Grayson said. Bandit looked at Mason, who just shrugged and picked up the last of the bags. The group started walking, making Destiny yelp with almost every step. "You mind? That's kinda annoying."
