Zoe's POV
A couple of days ago me and Cat had gone a nearby subway to grab some lunch. While we were there there was this one man who looked to be in his mid 30s or 40s. Now don't get me wrong he didn't look like most 30 year olds. He was very good looking. He had muscle but not to much to make him look like a balloon animal, a little stubble on his chin dark chocolaty brown eyes that any girl could fall for instantly and a nice haircut. But at the same time he had a mysterious side to him. I was interested in to what he was hiding.
We ordered our subs and sat down across the room from the man, and that's when I noticed he was staring at Cat with a slight smirk tugging at his lips.
"Hey, you see that guy over there? I noticed him staring at you while smiling. But it wasn't any type of smile it was like an evil smile, you know?" I said.
"I'm sure it's nothing, evil smiles belong to evil people. And I know that he isn't evil cause he-I mean..umm..
He just doesn't look evil." She replied a little too quickly, what was she hiding? How did she know him?
There was a short silence between us I decided to talk. "Well I'm stuffed, what about you?" She looked down at her half eaten sandwich looked back up at me and said "Oh yeah I'm full. Wanna go to he mall?" I laughed at her question she knows me too well. "Is that even a question? Of course I wanna go to the mall."
----------------------------------------------
After a long day at the mall we decided we should have a sleepover so she came over, we did the usual, which was my favorite thing ever because I'm not the biggest fan of physical activity. Our sleepover consisted of watching horror movies on Netflix, sitting on our phones, and hacking each others snapchats. When I finally decided to break the silence that had been hanging in the air for a while, I said "You know the guy we saw at Subway?" Her eyes got a little big as I mention him, I continued "How did you know him?" It took her a while to reply but she finally did.
