She slips a note in my pocket. I don't question it and run back to house where I am greeted by mom and "dad". "Welcome back honey." Mom says as I walk in. "Hey mom, and hey... David" I say as I walk past him . "Welcome back bud ! How was your day?" David says trying to be friendly. "..." He turns away. "..It was alright" I say heading upstairs. As I'm heading upstairs, I overheard their conversation. "Hun? Why doesn't he like me? I'm trying my hardest to be the best father I can be ." I yell down, "I just don't want you in my life!" and I storm up to my room. I lay in my room thinking. "Why can't I just let him go..." and I drift off to sleep.

Distorted. Awake in a black room. Can't breathe. Sinking. I discover a little bright light. Pursuing the grasp of curiosity that propels me farther towards the light. Deeper, Deeper into the glorious light. Suddenly I'm back on the beach, the clouds stormy gray. It starts to rain. Thud, thud, thud, goes the sound of the rain colliding with the tin roof of Mr. Keys's house. He comes out with a beautiful woman. It looks a lot different from present time. I checked the date and it says "February 17th, 1917". I walked over to where they were standing while they were talked among themselves . She breathed out as she was preparing what was about to come out. "Honey...I'm pregnant." She gazed into his eyes waiting for a response. He looked at her for a while processing the information. "Honey it's okay, I can just get and abortion.." Her voice ached as she tried to hold back from tearing up. "Oh no no no honey, you'll be a great mother!" .

The thought struck him. "We have to prepare!" and with that they're off into the house. I follow them into the house. Wow, he's so happy. Everything's going great until I walk past them in the living room and their heads twisted around quickly and they averted their attention to me. Their eyes bloodshot red. You shouldn't be in here Michael~. We warned you to stay out and you came back anyway. Their mouths aren't moving like before. They step closer to me. As they come closer, more transparent bodies form. As I slowly walk backwards, I trip and stumble over a rock. All of a sudden I'm back in the water. I feel something tugging me deeper into the water.
