Every bit a Queen

I opened my eyes and saw the same unfamiliar ceiling I had seen yesterday.

i got up.

My ladies were doing my hair as i looked in the mirror.

Charolette was pretty. She had blue eyes and light brown hair which fell till her lower back.

She had a greek nose and a heart shaped face.

After my breakfast(which was amazing), i headed to my meeting with Prime Minister George

He got up as i entered the room. He was in his late 40s, unmarried and we could see the grey in his hair.

''Good Morning Prime Minister'' I said as I sat down

''Good morning Your Majesty''

''SO, Geral?''

''Yes, ''he said handing me the report ''I think it would be best that we hold a correspondence with them and be on good terms with them. They are an important trade country and we should be in touch with them''

I read the report and nodded ''I agree with you. We should start trade with them but I think it would be better to trade Silk in return of Corn and jute from them. Everyone knows silk is moe expensive, we should find the net worth equal to the produce. A common ground for us''

He nodded.

After some serious discussions, the meeting was finally over.

''well if that's all..'' he said getting up

''Prime Minister, this is you second period isn't it'' I asked

''Yes, Your Majesty'' he said sitting back down

''So you've been doing this for a long time''

he nodded

''How do you..think..im doing?''

''Why do you ask Your Majesty? Are you beginning to doubt yourself?''

i laughed ''wouldn't you? There are a 100 people out there who think they could do a better job at this than me''

''And you fear they are right''

''Im just 15, I have never dealt with this. To them I am just a pampered little girl''

He sighed ''Your Majest, as you said i have been doing this for a long time. And in that time i HAVE learned, that there will be a 100 people to stop you from succeding, a 100 who will talk behind your back and smile to your face but what i have learned from that is to never look back. It is a dangerous world, so that is why having faith in yourself id the most important. If you youself dont belive in yourself, who will?'' he smiled at me with soft eyes

i smiled back, feeling better

''Thank you Prime Minister'' i said

he nodded, bowed and walked to the door

i went back to the paperwork in front of me

''Oh by the way Your Majesty,'' I looked up and saw Prime Minister George standing woth his back to me a hand on the door handle

He turned partially to look at me and said ''...to me, you are every bit a Queen''

He smiled and I smiled back.
