"Now," Coulter declared, having done his absolute best to terrify them while claiming he wasn't trying to do that. "I'm planning on keeping us from dangerous situations that could lead to our untimely demises, but that could happen anyways. If you're not willing to risk life and limb exploring the forest, speak now cause if you don't and die, I'm not responsible for it."

"I'm in!" Seth said. "I'm still sad I didn't get to risk my life yesterday."

"I'm in too," Kendra added. "But I don't mind not risking my life yesterday."

"Oh yeah, on the note of risking your lives," Coulter said. "I'm a bit old fashioned so I'm gonna be polite and not take a woman to certain places. Out of manners, not anything else like sexism."

"What?" Kendra spluttered. "You're not gonna take me places cause I'm not a guy?"

He nodded sagely, "It's out of respect though."

Kendra gapped for a moment.

"Well as long as it's out of respect," Seth chirped.

"I just think women deserve a bit of respect," Coulter said sagely. "And banning them from joining us on fun adventures is a good way of showing them respect."

"But I'm not a woman!" Kendra cried.

"Sorry, little girls."

Seth was biting back a laugh.

"I'm a Demigirl!"

Coulter paused, considering that.

"A demigirl is someone who is sorta girl and sorta not, right?"

Kendra nodded.

Coulter considered where that fell in his life philosophy of women being less than- I mean more deserving of respect, than men.

"That's sorta girl like right? Like you're still part girl but not fully girl?"

She nodded.

"Well, that's still girl enough that you should be shown proper disre- I mean respect."

Kendra gaped, "I-"

"Oh, what's your pronouns though?"

"My pronouns?"

"Well, you're not a girl, so do you use she/her pronouns?"

Kendra stared at him. He was sexist but supportive of zer being trans.

What even was this.

"She/her and ze/zer pronouns," Kendra said finally.

"I'll be sure to remember that," Coulter said sagely. "It's important to respect people's pronouns. Now then, moving on-"

"It's so unfair," Kendra complained to the fairies. "He won't let me go on trips in the forest just cause I'm a demigirl."

"What's a demigirl?" a fairy listening to her asked.

The fairies didn't understand having an issue with women, there weren't any men fairies.

"I'm like... sorta girl but also not. So demigirl."

"That's an option?" A fairy gasped. "I wanna be a demigirl!"
