Chapter 1: Birthday Bash Part 1

 *Heaven’s P.O.V*

I’m sitting in a taxi on my way to Lucy’s to get ready as we are going out for my birthday tonight as I’m finally legal to drink in America, since I had to move away from my hometown Gloucester it has been hectic so I just need a night to myself and relax, I’ve been so busy in getting everything unpacked and tidy before the rest of my family decide to come and move in with me I haven’t had a spare minute to hang out with my friends since they came out to see me 2 weeks ago.

*Lucy’s P.O.V*

I pulled out my make-up bag and curling wand waiting for Heaven to reply to my text I then headed towards my wardrobe to look for an outfit to wear tonight, as it is Heaven’s birthday and she’s finally legal to drink in America. Me, Josh and Ollie decided to do something special for her since she’s had a lot on since she's moved.

“I don’t know what to wear OJ.” I shouted OJ is my best friend his real name Ollie, but his full name is Oliver John Marland, we call him OJ for short, though no one calls him Oliver, as he hates it. Only his family or close friends are allowed to call him OJ.

“out of all your dresses you brought out here with you, your telling me you can’t find one to wear?” he shouted back.

*Heaven’s P.O.V*

I got a text from Lucy saying to meet her at the hotel she was staying in it was nice of her to do something for me tonight as I’ve been meaning to catch up with her and my other friends but because I’ve been so busy moving I haven’t had a chance to. I’m sitting in a taxi on my way to meet Lucy at the hotel she booked into whilst she's staying in LA when I got a text from her asking ‘how far away are you? Love from your bitch :’)’ I read the text and laughed to myself I wrote back ‘I’m about 20 minutes away I haven’t brought anything to wear with me though… love from your bitch 2 :’)’ it’s always been our thing to finish our texts like that since we were in high school, I’m still in the clothes I wore to work in I was wearing a white shirt tucked into the black pencil skirt i was wearing i paired it with a pair of black high heels as it was the only thing that I unpacked that was suitable to wear to work.

*Lucy’s P.O.V*

Oj looked in my wardrobe while I was on my phone, Heaven text back that she was on her way and that she needed clothes to wear, so I text josh and told him to meet us at a club called Ice from previous experience of when I and OJ have been here before, it’s a nightclub that's open till 3 in the morning, it has an icy theme to it, the dance floor is an icy colour and looks so cool, so does the bar, also the drinks are the best, Josh said he would meet us there.

"Lucy, wear this and these, you'll look hot" this was what Ollie said after 5 minutes of looking for something for me to wear, oh I should tell you OJ has this thing for flirting with me, so I just play along "so you are trying to say that this" I pointed to my body as I said 'this' "isn't hot?" I said playfully he was about to reply when there was a knock on the door...

*Josh P.O.V*

Lucy text me saying to meet her and her friends at a club called ice I text back saying I'll meet them there I knew the club was going to be open until 3 in the morning so I decided on getting ready now since I have to decide on what to wear which for me isn't easy as my wardrobe is a complete mess and I want to look good as I am in love with her best friend Heaven.

*Heaven's P.O.V*

I just got to Lucy's hotel, when I climbed out of the taxi and paid the driver after I walked up to the hotel and knocked on Lucy’s door, as I was waiting for her to open the door, I couldn't stop thinking that tonight better be good since I'm 21 today and so far today has been horrible, I kept pulling my skirt down to keep the creases out or it might be that I'm nervous for tonight because I have no idea what we are going to do but I want to at least get a dance from a guy.
