Did he always look...

The words weren't really making you feel better as you were stuck. Like a stick in a mud. No legs or arms to pull you through, there was no strength anymore. Kyo returned with some food. There wasn't' much but perhaps it might help. (Y/N) sat on the bed and slowly ate what was on the plate. Initially you felt sick to the stomach and in your throat, it had been so long since you ate, but as you neared the end you noticed your mood gradually improved. It was weird that he was attempting to make him feel better after the last incident. The escape attempt. Guilt began to take over as he stopped eating. "I... I'm sorry for hurting you. I won't do it again" (Y/N) lifted his head to face Kyo who showed his usual emotionless expression. Except this time he responded with, "Thank you for the apology (Y/N). Hopefully we can begin to get along in the future as I help you. After all, that is why I got you in the first place. I knew what it was like when I was younger and I didn't want you to end up like me" he stood up and slowly walked away.

What does that mean?

(Y/N) wanted to ask what he meant but didn't want to anger him again. So stayed put with his empty plate and chained ankles. The blanket was starting to smell and he knew that it needed to be cleaned. For the first time, he wanted to do the laundry. "Kyo! Kyo!" He called out calmly. It took a while for the man to return but when he did, he was shocked when (Y/N) admitted he wanted to do chores. Kyo then unlocked the cuffs and left the room quickly. On the other side of the door he heard locks being tightened and windows being shut. For security perhaps. But he didn't care. He just didn't want a dirty blanket to sleep with anymore. Plus, knowing that he had just spent 5 days consecutively in it made him feel worse.

Firstly he peeled the duvet cover off the duvet and left the room with it trailing on the floor and popped it into the washing machine. When he lived with his mother, she would tell him to grab all his clothes as she struggled to do more than one wash a day so (Y/N) subconsciously walked around the building looking for more laundry which he found a small pile in Kyo's room. After pressing a few buttons the washing machine began to tumble everything that was inside. (Y/N) sat on the floor and watched it spin for a few minutes before he made some food. It was like he had been put onto autopilot, he didn't have many thoughts at this time except to do those chores and ensure he feeds Kyo.

But before he turned the oven on, he slowly walked over to where Kyo was and asked, "What would you like for food?" with a glum look. Kyo looked over and sighed. He stood up which made (Y/N) flinch and Kyo paused in his tracks. "Don't worry about food" he walked towards the kitchen and began making something. It was strange to see Kyo in there. But (Y/N) still felt terrible and just sat on the sofa in the living room. The heaviness in his head made him lie on his side and let out a deep sigh.

The beeping from the washing machine knocked him back into reality and he jumped up to sort it out. Everything was heavy and wet which made him sigh, perhaps if he did this everyday he could build up some muscle. Nah. Despite the fact his mother was doing everyone's chores constantly she was still frail... Mother... He began to miss her. Where was she? Subconsciously, he mumbled, "Hey Kyo... Does my mother know what's happening?". Kyo grunted, continues cooking while he responded with a mellow tone, "She does. She knows that you've been sent to a school camp for a while, to improve your behaviour. She agreed though was reluctant." silence fills the air. The two had an awkward aura as the only noise was the hissing from the stove.

Perhaps he had been treating her wrong. (Y/N) sighed again. But he realised that as the laundry needed hanging, he was unable to do so. His outdoor privileges were cut. Leaving the damp clothes and duvet cover, he sat at the table and watched Kyo. The mysterious, dark man was entrancing. He found himself noticing how his eyes matched his skin tone well which was clear from pores and blemishes. Clearly a guy who took care of his appearance. It was nice to see him in a more casual attire though. Straight black trousers with a beige knit sweater laid on his muscular body... Was he always muscular? Couldn't really notice under his usual three piece suit.

Maybe there was a gym near by then. That meant a town maybe. A means to escape. Huh. Then when he escaped... He must've gone into the wrong direction. Great. No wonder it failed.  Kyo glanced over at (Y/N) "Why are you staring at me?". The boy jolted and instantly looked away with flushed cheeks. Hoe embarrassing! He stood up impatiently and ran out to the Livingroom, which resembled a palace.

"Rich bastard..." he grumbled as he slouched onto the sofa. The smell got stronger as Kyo clattered a few plates and notified that the food was ready. But he didn't want to get up again. The velvet sofa was just too comfortable, moreover, he had sunken into it which would make getting up too difficult so he remained silent. Surprisingly, Kyo walked over and handed him his plate which had an omelette, some fried tomatoes and other vegetables. Simple, but effective meal. Huh? He ate slowly while looking over at the other male from time to time. Did he always look this... Handsome?
