Jo's POV

Oh no this isn't going to end well...

Jesse:"I believe my sister but this is something that I know is true. Jo has always been jealous of Harmony because she has a perfect body, beautiful clear face, no stomach fat.. I could go on and on but I wouldn't be surprised if she would've said that"
Jo:"how could you Jesse? how could you point out every single insecurities of mine IN FRONT OF EVERYONE IN SCHOOL! ESPECIALLY CHARLIE! I HATE YOU!!"
Jesse:"THAN MAYBE STOP INSULTING HARMONY"
I looked over and Charlie while I was crying, he was fuming. Than he did something I never thought he would do. He punched Jesse.
Charlie:"DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO YOUR SISTER LIKE THAT!"
Jesse:"oh your gonna get it Gillespie!"
Jesse threw the first punch but Charlie dodged it and he punched him which caused him to fall backwards.
Charlie:"don't touch, go near or talk to your sister. Maybe one day you'll realize what you've done & lost"
Jo:"Charlie you don't have to fight for me"
Charlie:"but I do and I want to make sure your safe. cmon let's ditch and go get your stuff and go to my place"
I nodded and we left. We drove to my house and I packed some clothes and a few other things and we left for his house.
Jo:"Charlie I can go somewhere else I don't want to bother you and your family"
Charlie:"your staying with me, my family will understand. Anyways half of them don't live with us anymore it's basically just me, my mom and Meghan a lot."
Jo:"thanks Char"
Charlie:"anything for you"
We got to his house and I grew a little nervous. We grabbed my things and went inside.
Jeanette:"oh hello sweatheart" she said hugging Charlie.
Charlie:"hey mom"
Jeanette:"and hello Jo, what are you two doing here aren't you guys supposed to be in school?"
Jo:"oh uh um-" Charlie grabbed my hand and he helped me tell his mom the situation.
Jeanette:"oh my Jo i'm so sorry, you are more than welcome to stay how long you'd like, you can set up in Charlie's room"
Jo:"thank you so much Jeanette it means a lot" I smiled and gave her a hug which she returned.
me and Charlie went upstairs and unpacked my stuff. I felt my phone buzz and I looked and it was Jesse calling.
Jo:"he's calling"
Charlie:"give it to me"
I passed my phone to him and he answered while putting it on speaker.
Charlie:"why are you calling"
Jesse:"is my sister with you?"
Charlie:"and why should I tell you that?"
Jesse:"is she okay?"
Charlie:"why in all of a sudden you care about her"
Jesse:"I don't know can I talk to her?"
Charlie:"no" than he hung up on Jesse
Jo:"I don't know why he's acting like this"
Charlie:"it's all because of Harmony you know that, she's filling up his head with lies and other stuff. He'll come around eventually but I'm sorry but I'm not letting you near him until she's out of the picture"
Jo:"don't worry I don't think I would've went to see him with her involved"
Charlie:"hey Jo?"
Jo:"yeah?"
Charlie:"what did you mean when you said to your brother "especially Charlie" when he said the stuff about you?"
Jo:"oh- uh... umm. It's just that I never ever told anyone about my insecurities except Jesse and Harmony cuz I'm afraid to get judged and I'm terrified that you'll stop being friends with me"
Charlie:"because of your insecurities?"
I just nodded and sat down on the couch next to Charlie.
Charlie:"Jo you shouldn't be insecure, you're literally so perfect and I would never leave you for that. You are amazing and perfect don't doubt yourself" he said pulling me in his arms.
Jo:"thank you Charlie" he smiled and kissed my cheek. I of course blushed.
Charlie:"and I made you blush again" he said smirking
Jo:"stopppp"
Charlie:"let's start this movie night early" he said smiling and turning Disney+ on
Charlie brought us a blanket and placed his arms around me
Charlie:"what do you want to watch?"
Jo:"the last song" I said smiling
Charlie:"really?"
Jo:"pwetty pweaseeeeee" I looked him with puppy eyes
he smiled and gave in.
Charlie:"fineeee your too cute to say no to anyways"
Jo"ohh so I'm cute?"
Charlie:"and I'm hot" he said smirking
Jo:"your never gonna let that go will you?"
Charlie:"nopee"
I smiled and we cuddled while watching to The Last Song.
Charlie:"wait i'm surprised that you didn't ask to watch after"
Jo:"Charlie Gillespie! not with you"
Charlie:"why not?"
Jo"too awkward"
Charlie:"understood"
we continued the movie and we fell asleep in the middle of the 3rd movie.
