"for the last time, park seonghwa! let me see your phone just for a while" hongjoong softly pleads, making his best puppy eyes to his boyfriend
shaking his head, seonghwa holds the phone more tight in his hands, "and for the last time, kim hongjoong, no. i'm not giving you this thing"
for the past week, seonghwa had been acting suspicious from hongjoong's view. hiding his phone everytime hongjoong walks by, moving into another room as he accepts calls, declined some of their dates and carry on with another date
and when hongjoong had enough about it, he asked to just take a look on his phone or laptop which seonghwa strongly refuse
"trust me, there's only work stuff in it! please, you're not gonna erase all of it, right?" seonghwa was now standing in front of his office desk that they had in the house, "everything is work stuff and nothing you should worry about. i love you, i really do, but please not my phone or laptop" he rested his hand on the table near the said device
he admitted that he,- hongjoong- too, loves the older. but being extremely sus? who would stand it? literally not the kim hongjoong
"then, why did you hide the screen from me?" hongjoong asks as he heard another notification being sent to the other's phone. "and who is that texting you?" he slowly- threateningly- walks up to seonghwa with his finger pointing at the phone
seonghwa surrendered himself, showing the lit up screen to his boyfriend as his heart beats up to hundreds. "oh, it's your colleague...? or boss...? you should answer the message, it seems like an urgent matter"
seonghwa sneakily heaves out a relieved sigh as it wasn't san who was texting him at the moment and it was his manager instead, telling seonghwa to meet him tomorrow for a new project's meeting
--
"you might laugh if you're there, san-ah. my face was so- ugh, i don't know. but yeah, thankfully it wasn't you" both sipped on their coffees after seonghwa rants
setting the cup down, san fished out his phone, unlocks it and opens some files before showing it to seonghwa. "isn't this place beautiful? i mean, you love sunsets and aesthetic stuff, so i thought this would be it" it is a picture of an utterly aesthetic rooftop party venue. "what do you think?"
"this will do. thanks, see you next week, then. don't forget to call me, understand?"
"copy that"
while everything happened, hongjoong has been in the same coffee shop the two- his own boyfriend with this dorito guy- was in, spying on seonghwa. is that the boss? and 'don't forget to call me'? what's going on? shaking the negative thoughts off his head, he finishes his drink and headed out, passing by the older who is already sitting down alone by himself
as he hold the door open for someone who's about to go inside, he noticed the person was actually heading towards seonghwa making him more confuse. if this is the boss, who's that guy?
-
"yuyuuu"
"what did seonghwa-hyung do to you again, this time? last time you're like this was because hyung didn't spare you any strawberry lollipops. now what?"
letting out a sigh, hongjoong plops himself next to yunho, "he's hiding something from me"
that alone leads to yunho stopping whatever he's doing at that moment except for breathing and stares at the other, "he cheating? hell nah, i'mma beat his ass and make him apologize to you! he's lucky i let him date you yet he- "
