Twas a peaceful morning when our heroes approached the village. They were in dire need of supplies and this was the closest village to them.

While the others stayed with the wagon Ruriko and Hunter went inside to get supplies.

Naturally both humans made certain to wear their full outfits to prevent them from being noticed as anything other than furs.

This was done in order to prevent rumours of their travels from reaching their enemies.

Just outside the village was a gargantuan evergreen forest. It was know as the Eastern Green.

Ruriko's scouts had heard rumours in the area of a large furless man having entered the place.

Though she told them considering the age of the rumour it was more of a local fairytale than anything else.

Still, they had to investigate.

They had originally planned on getting in touch with Hayato first. But shortly after they started their travel any and all trace of him disappeared. Even his personal guards said it was strange.

Then Ruriko told them that Hayato wouldn't be found unless he wanted to. So they decided to find the other humans first.

After buying their supplies they leave the store.

Hunter sees a wagon next to theirs but dismisses it.

Just as he's about to get onto his own wagon he hears something that shocks him.

On the wagon next to theirs are two people, one is wearing a disguise similar to theirs although she has a boar mask.

Then she speaks. Both Hunter and Maria freeze.

Ultimately it's Elaine who pokes her masked head out to speak to the person.

"Jen? Is that you?" She asks the stranger in the boar mask.

The stranger's head immediately jerks around to look at Elaine.

"Elaine? What are you doing here?" The stranger asks.

The two sisters stare at each other as Hunter wonders how lucky they just got.

Running into Jen like this and all.

But then he thinks that the circumstances are odd. Both groups seem to have come here from a long distance away. Was Jen also here investigating or was there something else?

He wondered but didn't care. More than anything he was happy just to see her again.
