And so Hunter reunited with his loved ones. He introduced his mother to Ruriko and his other future wives. They all came to view her as family just as she came to view them. Though she needed time to adjust.
William's fiance was also accepted into the fold after she spent enough time with them to no longer be suspicious.
In time Hunter would marry and have children with Ruriko, Yui, Jen, Maria, Elaine and Esme. BTW, Elaine did not participate in the battle. She helped Jen with wounded and was inside a hut during Jen's battle.
Yui learned from Ruriko that Hayato was her father. This caused her to mourn even more.
With Ruriko at his side Hunter rebuilt the Dragon clan and established the Eastern Green as their domain. They were all very happy in life. They lived long lives. Most of Hunter's wives passed of old age before him. In the end him and Ruriko passed away together while watching their descendants playing with a ball.
As for the Hunter that stayed behind. His story has only just begun. Keep an eye out because he may reappear in the World of Darkness series that will eventually come.
