I walked through the half built village with a relaxed sigh.
So much has happened in the past few months. First off granny tsunde gave up the position of hokage. Now kakashi sensai takes on the role. Next I tracked down nagito and was forced to kill him and his purple haired companion. Basically all the akaski members were dead or missing and in a few weeks we'll be heading out to war to bring peace once and for all!
"naruto!" hinata ran up and hugged my arm. I'd have to say the most positive thing that happened this month was getting hinata as a girlfriend.
"hey darling" I kissed her on the forehead "how are you feeling? You know about the whole going to war thing"
"mmm I'm a little scared but I'm sure I'll be fine as long as your here" she smiled sweetly.
Our sweet moment was cut off by some soft giggling. We turned around to see hinatas little sister and neji standing behind us.
"aww there so cute" hannabi giggled.
"indeed" neji chuckled "come on hannabi. Let's leave the love birds to it" he scooped her up and the two ran away together, giggling as they did so.
"those two are so embarrassing" hinata muttered with a red face.
"aww don't worry babe. I'm actually pretty happy to have future in-laws like her" I said reassuringly.
"you really believe in our relationship that much?" her eyes lit up.
"of course" I grinned "now come on. Let's get some lunch at ikitakus!"
