While drinking my ordered coffee, Nicole popped out and mumbled to me that she really can't believe na nagawa ko iyon. That was 3 days ago can we just please move on?
"Nics. You should probably stop talking about our snide fight." Still awe on her face. Pinag-iisipan nya talaga. Hmm.
"No. That's the first time na nag-away kayo ni Rosheen this senior year." Hindi makapaniwalang sabi niya. And I am expecting more of our fight. We can't surely stand along each other's company.
" Yeah. By the way, Mr. Hermia told me na hindi ka raw nakapasa ng requirements at ang assignment kahapon. Argh! Nahirapan talaga ako sa homework na iyon! Nagpaturo pa ta..." I trailed off hindi kasi nakikinig ang babaeng ito. Nakatalikod na sya ngayon at may inaabangan. She's focused sa kung ano man ang tinignan nya.
"Earth to Nicole Valderama! Hello! Nicole!" Paulit ulit ko syang tinawag pero hindi sya natinag dahil sa ginagawa nya. Sino ba ang tinitignan nito.
"I just can't believe it na boyfriend 'to ni Rosheen." She pouted and faced me. She rolled her eyes all over again. Naiinis sya dahil lang dun? Parang bata.
"Luke Monte. The almighty Luke Monte. Argh! Minsan naiisip ko talaga kung anong klaseng gayuma ang pinainom ni Villega sa kanya and boom! Naging sila na." She said it na para bang nag sto-story telling. With hand gestures pa.
'Yun pa talaga ang inaatupag niya. Imbes na ipasa ang lahat ng requirements at assignment, iniisip niya pa talaga kung paano si Luke Monte at Rosheen Villega naging dirty lovers. Ewww.
"Like I said. Ipasa mo na ang lahat ng requirements kay Mr. Hermia... before doing your sport. Flirt." I mocked her ending our conversation at tumayo. I smirked idiotly sa naisip ko.
I walked confidently straight sa table ni Luke. Medyo malayo sila sa table namin ni Nicole. Sa table nila anim silang magbabakarda. Dalawa sa kanila ay nagfifist fight ang tatlo naman ay nagbabangayan. Lahat sila sa magbabarkada ay may kanya kanyang sport. Swimming, soccer and basketball...While Luke, he's there at nakatunganga. Para bang preoccupied, hmmm gwapo rin naman sya that's all I can say.
Hindi na ako nagdalawang isip pa sa gagawin ko. I stopped at their front. Mukhang na shock ko ang lima nyang kaibigan dahil siguro sa aking presensya. Never akong lumapit sa mga lalaki dito sa school, and today's my first time. Inisa isa ko silang tingnan hanggang dumapo ang mata ko sa kay Monte. He looked shocked and cute too, am I intimidating? You should be. And now he's serious.
I made my way on his opposing position, now I am facing this angel. Hmmm, I gathered all my composure and cleared my throat. Before anything else, I tucked some of my hair into my ears.
"Hi Luke!" I voiced out gayly.
"Yeah, hi...what?" Tinignan niya lang ako without a smile.
"Oh. Yeah. By the way, can you tell your freaky girlfriend to stay out of my way? She's creeping me-"
"Shut the fuck up!" He exclaimed through gritted teeth. Seryoso at mahinahon ang pagkakasabi nya.
Oh my, have I got myself into his nerves? Hmm, I really like it my way. My way of pissing off someone.
"Yeah, she's creeping me big time." I continued without acknowledging his opinion.
"Fuck yourself!" He hissed softly. How sexy kung galit sya. The way he said 'fuck youself' those lips were just irresistible. Nice lips Monte and hot-tempered ka rin pala, I am loving this conversation.
"Well, I never had the chance to fuck myself, that is sort of... psychotic. Just like your girlfriend." I smiled devilishly. I waited for him to respond but still he's just looking at me glaringly. Siguro time ko narin para umalis. But before leaving I should give him a mark. I pecked him a three-second kiss on his right cheek.
"Thank you for this small talk babe, I enjoyed it indeed. Maybe next time? Bye." I flashed him a seductive smile. Hindi nya man lang ako pinigilan sa ginawa kong halik. Gusto niya sigurong hinalikan ko sya. He's a bad boy. Hmmm.
Hindi ko na hinintay na may sabihin pa sya. I looked around for Rosheen's sign but no, wala sya. Sayang gusto ko pa naman sanang makita ang reaction nya. I walked my way to Nicole at pagkatingin ko sa kanya. Laglag panga. Literally. I know for sure na sasabihin sa akin ni Rosheen na 'you owe me an explanation'.
Hindi na ako tumingin pa sa table ni Luke. I reckon na nagwawala na siguro ang mind nya kakaisip sa ginawa ko.
Reminiscing our conversation, hmmm. Ang gwapo niya talaga. Not bad for my taste.
Somehow masaya ako sa mga ginawa ko ngayong araw. A conversation with Luke actually made my day!
