Welcome back to another headcannon!!!!
I will only be mentioning Human World authors,,,,, I'm sure u guys know why
~
Lucifer (Luci)
Any book that he's reading with you, he finds enjoyable. Though his utmost favourite is 'Memoirs of a Geisha'.
It includes history and real life experiences. The words in the book seem like they're made especially for him. He feels absolutely at peace while he reads about it. It's the only book you'll see on his work table. The rest are in his private library.
When he feels frustrated with a problem, he reads that book. You can often find him with that book in one hand his pen in the other.
He prefers to read in his office, as it's private and comfortable. It also almost blocks off all sounds. Sadly, sometimes Mammon's screams penetrate through the wooden door.
If Mammon is lucky, sometimes when Lucifer's solved a problem with the help of his book, there'll be a little extra Grimm left at his doorstep.
Mammon (Mammy)
Mammon's favourite book would have to be 'To all the boys I've Loved Before' trilogy.
He has a thing for chicklit. His favourite cliché has been portrayed, so of course he loves the trilogy. Along with the books, he's seen all the three movies. And he was team Peter from the very beginning.
His favourite place to read is on his bed. It's the most comfortable place for him, where he knows that he can hide it just in case one of his brothers barges in. He also likes to read during the afternoon, as he knows it's when most people relax after the meal and he can be free from his brother's teasing.
He thinks that the author had managed to take something childish and make it into something enjoyable. The thrill of not knowing what's going to happen while he reads is greatly loved by him. The book only feeds into it by providing him with various plot twists.
Leviathan (Levi)
Levi's favourite book would have to be 'Leave it to Psmith'.
Though he doesn't read many books, he has a particular thing for old comedy. He loves P.G. Wodehouse and his use of humour. 'Carry on Jeeves' is also something he enjoys bringing along if he's going for a holiday somewhere with his brothers.
He likes being absorbed in the book completely, and imagines himself as the main character.
His favourite place to read would be in his bathtub. Like Mammon, he likes his bathtub as it provides him with a certain coverage and the opportunity to quickly hide it. His brothers usually never disturb him, but sometimes Mammon bursts into his room to ask for Grimm.
He's always prepared for it, and replaces the book's original cover with that of a manga.
Satan (Tannie)
His favourite book would be 'The Davinci Code'.
He's dead the entire series, but that's his favourite amongst them. He especially enjoys detective novels, and before this book became his favourites, he loved (still does) the Sherlock Holmes series.
He is able to read anywhere at any time. He often gets into arguments with Lucifer when he stays up late reading the book and comes down late for breakfasts. He also has the ability to ignore his brothers for a long period of time.
He does like to incorporate moments from the books to his daily life. He often copies the detective's silly little habits into his own without realising what he's doing.
Him and Asmo have become book buddies, and often read together, sitting opposite to each other. Both Asmo and him love erotica and combined, '50 Shades of Grey' are their favourite.
Asmodeus (Asmo)
Asmo's favourite book is 'milk and honey'.
You may have thought that his favourite would be an erotica, but you would be wrong.
Though it's technically a poetry book, he enjoys the vivid descriptions and the language used. He's a lover of beautiful things, and it's raw magnetism is enough for him. He thinks that it's the perfect book, consisting of realism and pretty words. He loves how abstract it is as well.
He prefers to read in between an activity. Like, when he's applying his face masks or waiting for his nails to dry.
He and Tannie are book buddies and though Asmo talks a lot during their weekly sessions, Satan doesn't seem to mind. He finds it extremely endearing.
Beelzebub (Beel)
Beel doesn't read as much as Satan, but his favourite book would be 'Journey to the River Sea'.
Much opposed to other's views on him not reading or simply reading only cookbooks, he actually reads quite a good amount of books.
Truthfully, he doesn't really require any cookbooks, opting to experiment with it and or bring take-out.
He often reads while he's working out or just listens to the audio books. It provides him with a fresh new outlook for the day and clears his thoughts. He also prefers being alone when he's reading as he doesn't like to be disturbed during.
He usually reads during cooking as it's two of his favourite activities combined. He doesn't read when he eats though. He ends up being so absorbed in one, that he ends up neglecting the other. Many a times Lucifer has had to scold him for choking while reading.
Belphegor (Belphie)
Belphegor is mostly always asleep so many people think that he's not an avid reader.
Well, those people would be extremely wrong. Belphie loves to read gothic horror. His favourite book would be, 'Dracula'.
There's always an eerie atmosphere when it's dark in Devildom, and he loves the thought of possible danger. The overall tone of the book jus agrees with him.
Horror doesn't faze him that much, and he belives that he's already seen the most terrifying thing on earth, that is Lucifer, so he's fine. He doesn't react to jump scares and he's actually bored of them by now. He enjoys literature written in the past. Another one of his favourites would be Dante's 'Inferno'.
He usually reads late at night either on his bed or when he's sprawled on the sofa chair in front of the fireplace. He's been known to pull out the book while he's being dragged usually by his twin to do an activity he finds boring.
