George paused as he couldn't help but cry.

Karl felt guilty as well, after all this was his fault.

It was a stupid idea.

Why should he have come here?

George thought the same guilty thoughts.

Karl put his hand on George's shoulder.

"Let's go back. . ."

George wiped the tears off of his face and nodded.

They walked away from the porch heads laid low.

George thought this was stupid.

George thought Dream shouldn't have ignored him, he shouldn't have done that.

Karl tried to think of something to comfort George but he couldn't.

Just then a young man ran right into them.

"Oh sorry-"

The man picked up his book bag and waved to the two.

"I was in a hurry, sorry."

George smiled.

"It's fine."

Karl nodded, not paying attention.

"Mhm yeah no problem."

George noticed and rolled his eyes.

"I'm Nick, my friends call me SapNap though"

Karl gaped towards them.

"Dream team!"

He covered his mouth quickly.

"You guys know Dream?"

Sapnap stood there confused.

"I don't think he ever mentioned you guys."

George's eyes widened and he tried to act casual.

"I dunno- we're uh-"

"Close relatives!"

George stomped on Karl's foot.

"I mean- his mom knew our moms"

Karl mumbled a bit.

"Oh! Makes sense."

George sighed in relief.

Sapnap thought for a second.

"You guys wanna come to the library too?"

George thought for a second and nodded.

This would be the perfect opportunity to talk to Dream more.

Karl could smell a scheme and shook his head.

"I'm gonna be busy but George isn't."

Sapnap frowned and nodded.

"That's too bad, you'd love it I bet."

Karl rolled his eyes.

"Don't grasp on straws you little honk."

Sapnap laughed and sighed.

"Sorry then?"

Karl was clearly annoyed.

"Don't apologize! That's out of character."

Sapnap was confused and George was too.

"When are we going?"

Sapnap gasped and smiled.

"I was just about to go get Dream, let's go."

Karl knew this was a bad idea, he could just sense it.

"I'll be going now then."

Sapnap frowned and waved to Karl.

"Well bye then. . . what was it?"

"It's Karl."

"Well bye then Karl."

Karl nodded and shook his head at George disapprovingly.

George rolled his eyes and walked with Sapnap up to the porch again.
