Rihanna

You weren't even sure whose party it was supposed to be, you'd been invited by a friend of a friend and having nothing else to do, you went for it, deciding your Saturday night could do with something fun to do.
The invite specified fancy attire and it just so happened you had the perfect outfit at the ready, an expensive "treat yourself" gift that you were determined not to let go to waste. Swarovski crystals were no joke, baby.
The house pulsated from the inside out as you and your friends pulled up, your chest vibrating in time with the bass of the music, and by that alone, you could tell this was going to be fun. There were a lot of people but not too many to where you felt like you could move around freely, not to mention the amount of gorgeous looking people floating past your vision.
Nursing a drink from the bar, you hung around the living room, staying close to the wall, observing but enjoying yourself and mingling with a few familiar faces you'd spotted amongst your friends.
You could feel yourself loosening, your body moving to the music, the smile spreading across your face as your friend joined you, this was exactly what you needed.
To forget about all the obligations and stressful deadlines and events in your life and just dance a little, give yourself a little break, hell, maybe even cozy up to one of the girls you'd been making eye contact with for the better half of ten minutes. Not a priority for you but rather an option was all.
The buzz from the room gave off a good vibe, everyone was genuinely just having a good time, cheers breaking out when certain songs came on, you even noticed a food table next to where the bartender was, and just the fact that whoever set this up actually had a bartender for this...you were impressed you had to give it to them.
Still no word or indication of who exactly this party was for or who was throwing it and why but that wasn't much concern to you now, maybe you'd ask one of your friends later if they knew.
You didn't need to bother, however, a few minutes later the crowd of people nearest to the hookah lounge room started making enough noise to draw pretty much everyone's attention, including yours, your eyes snapping in their general direction and your jaw nearly dropping when you saw the tall figure making her way through the crowd.
It took a minute for your brain to catch up with what felt and looked familiar about her but suddenly you were very hyperaware that you weren't just at some rich playgirls party, that was Rihanna Fenty, a rising star in the film industry and you were feet away from her.
