Part 4 (chapter 4)

Y/n POV :
~time skip to a month later~~~
Nothing much has happened really
I'm passing all of my classes
Me and Matteo are closer
Me and Cedric are getting impatient about the tournament
Quidditch is having its first game tomorrow
And the names are getting picked out of the fire in like 3 minutes so that's amazing
We all sit and wait for dumbledor to announce the names
The first name picked out was Fleur Delacour she was from and another school
2nd was Victor Krum who was also from a different school
Then it was Hogwarts champion
He and Cedric locked eyes and waited for the fire to do something
The paper comes out
I looked at Matteo who looked worried
"The Hogwarts champion... Cedric Diggory"
My heart fell into pieces
But Cedric he was happier than ever
And so was Matteo
I was happy for him but he's going to get destroyed in the tournament 
But I clapped and smiled anyway
But something wasn't right, the fire was acting all weird
"Watch as the center of attention Harry Potter get picked," Draco says
The fire spits out another name
Dumbledor reads it
"Y/n Lestrange?" He says 
Everyone starts talking
"Y/N LESTRANGE"  he shouts
I slowly get up and start walking over, o was going to have a panic attack why is this happening
One everyone knows my last name and 2 I got into the tournament thinking that only 3 people could play
" go Into the room we need to talk," dumbledor says
I get into the room and see Cedric and I run up to him and hug him

"What are you doing here," he asked
"It picked me IDK why it did, why is this happening Ced first the death eater sighting and now this, wtf is this???"

I let go of him and all the teachers run down
"Y/N HOW DID YOU GET PICKED ONLY 3 PEOPLE CAN GET PICKED WHAT DID YOU DO" they shout at me

"I don't do anything sir I promise please believe"

"You should believe her, this does happen but on a rare occasion and unluckily it happens now," said an older man

"You all go to your dorms and I'll talk with you later," dumbledor says

When I say I ran out of there, I straight out bolted out
I went into my dorm ignored everyone and everything and just cried
Yes I did ask for this but now I'll be going against my best friend who is known for years and I could kill him, I don't want that happening
I've cried for about an hour and I hear a mock on my door
"May I come in y/n"
It was Matteo
"Yes you can," I said wiping the tears off my eyes"
He sits next to me on my bed
"Hey it's going to be ok," he said while putting his arm around me
"But what am I going to do going agents my best friend was not a part of the deal and what if I kill him, what am I going to do," I say
Matteo brings me in closer
I put my head into his chest
"It's ok to cry sometimes," he says "just let it all out"
I cried for what seemed like hours
I was in shock
After a while, Matteo had to go
But I didn't leave
I didn't even go to dinner  I was too busy thinking about what Is the first task
Then I remember
Hagrid
He can't keep a secret and he loves me
I'll get the first task and I'll tell Cedric and we'll both be ok?
Idek
I didn't make any sense at the moment
I was getting tons of text messages + calls
I didn't answer a single one
I heard a knock again
"Go away," I say
They keep knocking
"GO AWAY" I shouted
"Y/n please let me in," they say
It was Matteo..... again
What do you want
"I brought you up dinner so you could have a meal"
"I'm good"
"But we have a big quidditch match tomorrow You're going to need the energy"
"I'll be fine"
"I'll leave it here just in case you change your mine ok?" He says
"Ok"
"It's going to be ok y/n you just in shock, you'll be fine. We will find what the first task is a prepare you for it, you've got about a month right?"
"Yep"
"Y/n please just get your rest, please just for me?"
"Ok, whatever please just get out"
I say pointing at the door
He gets out and he closes the door
I look at the food
And I just cry
I cry myself to sleep
Well until 10:00
I wake up and go for a walk and I could care less if I wasn't supposed to be out at that time
I go into the courtyard and sit in the grass
Nature was the place I liked the more
Especially the animals
Then I felt a shadow

"Mind if I sit with you?"
It was Neville
"Sure," I said
"Nature is beautiful isn't it"
He says
"It sure is" I smiled
"Listen I'm always here to help you with the challenges, plants can always be helpful," he says
"So your not mad at me?" I ask
"Why would I be mad at you," he says
"Well because of my name"
"You mean because of your mom, no I'm not mad at you, you are a completely different person than her and  your one of the people who are nice to me so just because of a

"Thank you, Neville, that made me feel better"
