Chapter 4

Author's POV:

Alpha Hersh kept pacing in the room and growled yet another time as the clock ticked 12.

Luna Amanda tried to calm him down with a back hug but she knew when Alpha was angry, things could get more ugly between him and their son. Luna Amanda looked at Amadeus younger one trying to dial her elder one for the umpteenth time and yet the call went not reachable.

Just then the door was pushed open and he stood there with his blazing emerald green eyes. He had already sensed the discomfort in the air. Alpha his father was angry and the serious expression on his face said it all. He tried to silently walk away from the roaring voice asked him at once...

'Are you even going to try Aarya?' and his footsteps stopped. He knew his father was mad at him.

'I am trying Dad!!!' he said but the reply he got irked him more.

'And how are you exactly doing that son? By killing rogues infront of her? You know she doesn't know right? You know it's not that simple!!! You know she is naive of even our existence and you can't stay away from her for a little more time? Why are you complicating this more Aarya!!!' he yelled in his Alpha tone. But then the one listening also had the same blood within!!!

To add on he had issues!!!
Anger issues!!!

In one go he turned around and howled loudly for a minute even making his father the Alpha of the Adamant Moon Pack flinch. After all he was considered the chosen one. He was hailed to be the most powerful. He was an animal. A killer machine. The heartless but his last birthday changed everything for him.

Although Adamant Moon Pack was one of the most powerful of all the packs around the world they got more power raging in with Aarya turning the most ruthless wolf. He was not just an ordinary wolf he would be the future Alpha. To add on was the blessing he received when the magical 'Book of Destiny' opened after 200 big years for someone. It was surprising for everyone that night. There was so much hullabaloo across packs that the magic book not just appeared before the wolves but it also opened for a certain someone.

And the certain someone was this killer machine. After all the Book of Destiny Moon Goddess Celene's hand written scriptures. It was the destiny goddess wrote for the wolfs! And no one disrespected it.

'You were told to stay away from her Aarya. Why don't you understand!!!' Alpha Hersh yelled and this time Aarya snapped at once saying...

'I AM TRYING OK!!! I really am!!! But you...you have never tried to understand. You neither understand my pain nor have you understood my anger!!!' he said while Alpha Hersh's eyes blazed.

Alphas also feel the pain. It hurts them too. But they are stronger.

'Then your try isn't enough. You are scaring her. I don't want to get phone calls Aarya. She fainted today. You have to stop this. And you have to get a grip on your anger else I won't hesitate in giving away my throne to Amadeus!!!' Alpha Hersh said at once to which Aarya stared back at him and said...

'You think I'm desperate for your throne??? You know I'm enough capable of even building a new pack Alpha!!!' and the taunt in his tone hurt Hersh as a father!!!

'You know what...do what you feel like Aarya!!! You wouldn't understand the pain until something rigorous happens!!! I am getting older Aarya...and your anger may harm my pack. I am holding upon passing over power to you only because of the last war. You went ruthless. You killed each rogue even after they surrendered. We don't do that son!!! We try to forgive. Kindness is a thing too!!!' Alpha Hersh said softly this time just like how he explained his 5 year old Aarya when he was a pup.
