Love. Love has always been longed for. Whether it's self love or given love, it's always wanted.

I find it crazy how I find myself longing for that love, but yet never does anything for it. Let me back up a bit and explain to you what I mean.

Self love and given love are two completely different things (obviously), but had it ever once occur to you that self level is more important and more work than given love?

Given love is as simple as it's name. You could easily compliment someone on their socks, their shoes, or even their messy hair, and they will not only be happy that someone noticed and complimented them, but will begin to praise you in the same matter. Don't get me wrong, I love giving and receiving compliments. Words of affirmation is my love language (wink wink), but how come you don't compliment yourself when you wake up?
Self love is just as important people! But you must work for it. And how/why do you work for it? Well, it's just like this.

You may be reading this because you just got broken up with and need some love.

You may have just balled your eyes out to the new Taylor Swift album.

You may be reading this because you're just like me who is destroying their sleep schedule more than it already should be (I just wrote this whole thing at 2:55 am).

You may be insecure about your body (don't worry bae, me too), your hair, your face, your hands, etc.

But honey, all of that, is in your head!

You have to kick those nasty thoughts out of your mind and think to yourself: "I am going to change for the better. I am going to change for myself and myself only." So if you have to get rid of your toxic friends, then do it! Don't like the way your body looks? Change it! Go take a nice walk, run, jump rope, exercise, eat healthier, etc! I'm not saying "Oh you're fat, go do this and that", your body is perfect no matter what. You were given this body and if you wanna change it, then change it! But change it in a healthy way. Do you think you act too much like a pick me girl or you're too quiet and want to branch out? Then change that! Like they all say, everything is possible! Don't be afraid to take risks!

I am just like any other teenage girl. I'm insecure about my body, I tend to overdramatize everything when I'm upset, and I do believe that I am not at my best right now (mentally). No, no, I'm not suicidal, but I know for a fact that I can be in such a better state. So, I'm writing this to help me and to potentially help you!

So do what's best for you.

Go find that love.

The love,
that you've been longing for.
