sorry for the hiatus on this story, I've been having a total Pokemon hyperfixation (but as you could tell from my OSO oneshots, I'm getting back into objects!)
anyways to cross over these interests I'm headcanoning what pokemon each member of the ii cast would have! (NOW FEATURING SEASON 3!!) (can you tell im excited to work on this book again)
Lightbulb - Ampharos!
I imagine she'd be training to be a gym leader, because in her mind thats way more fun than being the champion. She'd also probably love playing/feeding her pokemon, but would be too lazy to grow any berries herself.
Test Tube - Reinculus
TT would DEFINITELY be a professor, or at least a well renown scientist, and reinculus would be her lab partner! It could help her out by moving big objects and bringing her snacks with its psychic powers :3
Fan - Fan Rotom
I couldn't help myself I'm sorry
seriously though I think Fan and a rotom would be best friends, other than that I think fan's team would have an eevee.
Paintbrush - Pyroar
Obviously Smeargle is on the team too, but I couldn't resist having Painty's main type be fire. I imagine Painty would kinda just chill, maybe fight a few gyms but definitely not all the way up to the Elite 4. They would also definitely use pyroar as a ride pokemon.
Knife - Axew
For some reason I can just really see this, axew is the perfect amount of cool + cute for knife. I imagine his axew would be lazy, so they would just sit around and watch TV all day.
Suitcase - Teddiursa
They are,, so cute... Suitcase would also probably have an eevee, and maybe even eventually evolve it into an umbreon :0
Mic - Noibat!
I can imagine this one so vividly that I'm tempted to put my phone down and go draw fanart of it rn, they would literally be best friends. I imagine Mic would live with Soap, who has a clefable, which she accidentally met while cleaning off a moonstone. I want to live their life.
Soap - Clefable
^Since these details are in Mic's entry, I will instead talk about my headcanon that Soap hates mincinnos, because whenever they try to clean something, it just gets their pokemon dirt all over it. //mincinno is my favorite pokemon wtf soap :( //
OJ - Floatzel
Just a lil helper pokemon for the hotel :)
I imagine that it likes to swim in the hotel pool and battle the resident trainers there for fun, its a free spirit kinda floatzel. It'll still come back to OJ at night and hang out in his room.
I imagine Paper likes to play with floatzel while OJ is busy.
Paper - Kirlia
For some reason Paper just gives me big ralts-line energy. I also imagine he'd have an alolan vulpix, because that would be cute. Despite the fact that his pokemon would probably wreck your shit, I imagine he just likes to be friendly and play around with them. Him, Oj, and all of their pokemon probably sleep in a big cuddle puddle sometimes.
Trophy - Toxicroak
I'd give him a machamp, but honestly, I think that would just make him insecure. Anyways Trophy and his toxicroak would have identical personalities, and just kind of generally be a nuisance to everyone they interact with. Definitely strong af though.
