Chapter 6

Jason's POV

I groaned as Brittany dragged me across the toy asile, shrieking at the sight of all the pink barbie dolls, al lined up  neatly on the shelves. She let go of my hand and ran towards the end of the asile, picking up a doll that was lying on the floor before squealing at the sight of the aisle behind it. She dropped the doll and started running through all the aisles again, with pure happiness.

We've been in the toy store for about 2 hours or so, and still, Brittany couldn't decide on what to buy. Everything she saw made her eyes grow wide open and her legs to start running straight towards it without her even thinking.

I had promised her a toy since I had left her alone at the party but I never knew it was going to be this hard to get her to find something that she liked. Turns out she had never been to a toy store before so I was glad that she was happy but I do not, want to spend the rest of the day trying to find something for her.

"Brittany, baby, use your inside voice hun." I told the hyper child in front of me as she sat on the floor comparing an Elsa and Anna doll set, to the Sofia the First doll set. I smiled as she scrunched her eyebrows together deciding on which toy to get, when the same mouth watering scent from last nights party filled my nose. Inside me, my wolf was howling with joy, as the scent grew stronger and stronger

I glanced at Brittany before picking her up, startling her from her concentration on the toys. I followed the scent with Brittany who was still holding onto the toys tightly as she looked at me confusedly, not knowing what I was doing.

You better not lose her again Jason. 

My wolf growled as I continued to follow the scent throughout the shop.

I know, will you be quiet i'm trying to find her.

And with that I shut him off running around the shop with Brittany still clinging on my shoulder.

"Daddy, what are you doing?" Brittany asked as I looked around the shop, like a maniac, for my mate.

"Daddy's just finding someone sweetie." I said before I stopped in front of the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She was my mate and she was just... breathtaking.

Her long blonde hair was hanging loosely around her shoulders, reaching up to her belly button. Her big blue eyes were so beautiful, that if I stared into them long enough, I would end up being lost to its ocean like features. She wasn't tall but petite, and that was fine, it just made me love her even more. Up close, she was even more beautiful than when I first saw her last night.

"Wow." Was all I could say as I placed Brittany down on the floor. She stood beside me, clutching onto the two dolls in her hands tightly as she glanced up at my beautiful mate.

"Jason. Alpha Jason, of the blood moon pack. And you are?" I asked extending my hand out for her to shake.

"My names Lea." She blushed but took my hand anyway. Immediately sparks started to fly as our skins touched. She jumped back a bit, surprised by the electricity that we were making and how powerful it was, radiating off from our skins. I chuckled and grabbed her hand back, bending down slightly to kiss it,which only caused her to blush even more as the sparks turned to fireworks.

"What pack are you from? How did they let you move here without letting me know?" I asked as she fiddled with her summer dress.

"I recently just moved into the Snowy river pack yesterday, they told you that I was coming in your recent meeting." She replied, taking me off guard at how sweet her voice was, as if it was flowing through the air like a butterfly guiding swiftly, from flower to flower.
