That auspicious moment has arrived. Guests from far and near were bustling in the Yang's mansion and it was full of laughter and cheer again since Zi'an's father had left. The news of Zi'an's marriage had already reached him in Ba Perfecture and he gave his full blessings to the couple. All the teachers of Shangyi school along with the students who graduated together with Zi'an were also present. In the midst of them stood Zi'an, clad in red, looking more handsome than ever. All the talking and laughing stopped as Yu'er brought Yiyi, also in red with a silken veil covering her face, in front of Zi'an. His eyes tenderly looked at Yiyi as if he could see her face through the veil. Yiyi, though a little tensed, blushed from underneath the veil. Who would have thought that the Yang Zi'an who was so strict in maintaining rules and laws would himself get trapped in the string of fate and get intertwined with a happy-go-lucky girl like Yiyi?

The marriage got over with Zi'an and Yiyi bowing to Heaven and Earth, their parents and finally to each other. Yiyi's heart raced all the time she and Zi'an stood together.

Just as they were ready to head to the bridal chamber, Xinyuan arrived in their wedding, much to Yiyi's surprise. She glanced at Zi'an who did not look a bit amazed. On the contrary, he smiled and greeted Xinyuan. Xinyuan gave a wide smile and said,"Congratulations guys, erm...am I a bit late?" Tangtang patted his shoulder and said, "No Diviner, you are not late. In fact, you are very late."

Xinyuan, Zi'an and Tangtang laughed out loud while Yiyi stood there, completely confused.

Yiyi finally got the chance to ask Zi'an about Xinyuan once they were comfortably settled in their bed. She had her head rested on his chest while his hand tenderly stroked her shoulder.

"Zi'an"
"What is it?"
"I have a question."
"No."
"What no?"
"Whatever you ask, the answer is no."
"So that means you did not go to meet Diviner yesterday?"

Zi'an was silent.
"Come on Zi'an, you don't lie right? Tell me what happened. Why did Diviner come to our wedding all of a sudden?"

"All of a sudden? Didn't you invite him?"

Yiyi was irritated. She jumped off Zi'an's chest and replied angrily,"Yang Zi'an, don't talk in riddles. Tell me, what happened between you and Diviner? What did you tell him? Did you tell him everything? What did he say? Did he get angry? Did he....."

Her endless questions were interrupted as Zi'an tugged her hand and brought her close to him.

"Yiyi, answer me honestly. Do you trust the friendship of the Five Scholars of Shangyi School? Do you trust Xinyuan? Do you trust me?"

Yiyi, who was shocked by Zi'an's sudden movement, nodded in a yes.

"Then know this: You should stop stressing now. Look at you, you are frowning." He gently caressed her head. "You are not at all the Shen Yiyi I knew. The smiling Yiyi, the cheerful Yiyi, the carefree Yiyi."

Yiyi felt a sudden urge to hold Zi'an tightly and thank him. But instead, she forced herself to say, "Zi'an, I never knew what you are up to....ever. Even in Shangyi School, you were always mysterious. But, I still trust you. Even if you won't tell the truth to me. You are the only one I can trust, anyway."

Zi'an gave a long, penetrating gaze to Yiyi. Yiyi's heart raced as she looked away and blushed.

"Don't.....don't stare at me like that. My heart beats too fast when you stare at me like that."

"Mine too."
"Huh!"
Zi'an smirked.
"When did Shen Yiyi become so shy that she cannot even admit that she wants to hear those words from me again?"

"Yang Zi'an, stop teasing me. Who was the guy who told me that he loves me with only one-third of his heart? Who would want to hear those love words from you again?"

A mysterious smile was etched on Zi'an's face. He caught her shoulder and brought her close to him again.

"Thank you Yiyi. Thank you for making me a human being again. Before you came, I was a lone wolf who only believed in strict laws and theoretical knowledge. You showed me that everything cannot be solved by rigid laws. You warmed my heart. Thank you so much."

"Am I really that important to you?"
"You are my book."
Yiyi laughed.
"Yang Zi'an, you are really an idiot!"
"It's better to be an idiot than to bear water inside one's head."

"Yang Zi'an!" Yiyi shrieked.
The gentle and tranquil moonlight quietly peeped into the room as they lay in bed, blissful to their highest limit.
