𝐈 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐀 𝐆𝐔𝐍,
𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞.𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐆𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐘, hated Mondays, she always had from the day she was forced to start school, this Monday was no different. The rain battered against her skin, drowning the Doctor from head to toe. She hated the rain, hated Mondays, hated patients who kicked off at her for no reason, hated her attending's when they was being asses. And, as she pushed her way through the crowd of the local bar, she hated her life.
"Your late, Montgomery!"
She rolled her eyes, entering the staff room, the copper girl was met with a smile from her close friend, Hannah, "He's being an ass, tonight" Hannah shrugged her shoulders.
"When isn't he?"
Averie found herself in the bathroom, using the hand dryer against her clothes, she glanced in the mirror, a sigh fell from her lips. Her copper hair was in tight frizzy waves from the rain, she wiped away the smudged eyeliner quickly, "Montgomery, get your ass out here!"
She huffed, but did as instructed, throwing on a black apron with the bar's logo. The night went slow, Averie had a few regulars greet her, order drinks, tipped, that's how she liked it. Fast, swift, simple exchange of money, that's all she wanted, a nice easy night after a horrendous day.
But God didn't seem to agree, bar fight after bar fight took place, she had to save drunken girls from too many perverted men, all in the space of two hours, man she hated Mondays. Her eyes narrowed as she poured another vodka lemonade, watching as four well dressed men entered the room along with two women.
Averie watched the group as they separated, as each individual flashed a badge, she couldn't quite make out the markings. They showed posters to guests, most drunkenly shrugged them off or laughed straight in their face, it was an amusing show for Averie.
Hannah joined Averie, both leaning against the bar, "Chocolate over there is killing me... look at the biceps, hell, look at the thighs! Suffocate me anyday..." She giggled, flipping her chocolate curls over her shoulder.
"Your ridiculous" Averie chuckled, shaking her head, she grabbed a cloth beginning to wipe a glass, "Cardigan guys cute, in a bestfriends younger brother kind of way" She admitted, "However, Mr Suit over there, he could get it"
Anna fell into laughter, "Hate to tell you this, but your daddy issues are showing" She teased, leaving the Doctor alone a second later.
Averie lost track of the group, as she served customers as fast as possible, "Ma'm", she turned swiftly to the accent. She grinned, he wasn't drunk, wasn't slurring like her customers.
He showed his badge, "SS Agent Aaron Hotchner, with the FBI-"
"If I plead guilty to whatever shit your gonna say, will you believe it?" Averie interrupted, pouring out a shot of tequila, Aaron raised a brow, confusion written on his face.
"Excuse me?"
"Three meals a day, roof over my head, no responsibility and it's unlikely I'll have someone shit on me every day, it sounds tempting" She shrugged her shoulders, a small smile on her lips.
"Promise you, prison isn't as nice as you make it sound" He replied, sliding a poster across the table, Averie looks down at the poor drawing of the man, the only noticeable feature being the scar across his head.
