𝐀𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐍𝐄𝐑's house wasn't like anything Averie had expected, she guessed that being an Agent would pay well, but her eyes widened almost comically as they pulled up to the house. He pulled up to the high fence, typing in a quick four digit number as the gates unlocked themselves, quickly shutting behind the SUV.

It was a two story, with a three car garage but Aaron still parked on the driveway. Surprisingly many windows littered the exterior, a large garden in the front and she suspected an even larger one in the back.

Averie gripped onto the small duffel bag of her clothes, he'd assured her repeatedly he didn't mind, encouraged her to bring more stuff then she'd ever need for a one night stay, just in case. It took him a few turns of the key to unlock the door, instantly an alarm system started counting down until he typed in the correct passcode.

"You have real security" She stated the obvious, "I've never seen a house this big"

Averie followed Aaron's lead into the lounge, watching as the Agent pulled of his FBI vest, and gun holster, "It was my first big purchase when I was made Unit chief of the BAU" He admitted, turning on the few lamps in the lounge.

"BAU?"

"Behavioural Analyst Unit, we create profiles from evidence left behind, small towns or cities across the country reach out for our help" Aaron explained, taking a step closer to the Doctor, "Do you feel safer here?"

Averie nodded, looking around the room, "You have security, you have a gun, your here"

It sounded more like she was reassuring herself then Aaron but he gave her a short smile, reaching out to take the duffel bag from her hand, "Follow me", he lead the way through the halls and up some white spiral stairs.

Aaron made sure to turn the lights on to every hallway, making it clear nobody else was present in the house, he paused at a white oak door, pushing it open to reveal an en-suite bedroom. Averie's eyes widened at the sight of the bed, large with black detailing across the duvet, the room was well furnished, a wardrobe, desk and chair, small bedside tables and even a lavish TV on the wall.

"The guest room" He announced, pushing open the en-suites door to reveal a healthy sized shower and bath, "Don't worry about the blood, I made sure the tiles don't stain"

Aaron placed her duffel bag on the bed, turning on the bedside lights, "You can leave the lights on all night if you prefer, whatever makes you comfortable and I'm, I'm just across the hall" He pointed to the opposing white oak door, "You need me for anything, even if you think it's silly, you come get me, ok?"

The copper haired girl hesitantly took a seat on the bed, amazed at how soft the mattress and duvet felt under her weight, "Will you ring the hospital?" He took a seat next to Averie, waiting for the Doctor to continue, "Use the FBI card to get me a few days off work"

"I'll tell them, Garcia will work on it first thing in the morning" He nodded, watching as the girl stifled a yawn, "They'll be a lot of paper work after the case today-"

"Do I have to be interviewed?"

Aaron's hand brushed over hers, "No, no, I'll take care of it, I can work remotely tomorrow, the team knows how to handle paperwork, I'll be here in the morning" He assured.

"Why wouldn't you be?"

Her question was innocent, a frown on her lips, "I travel a lot, too much some would say, there's always a case somewhere, someone needing my help"
