Chapter 1

                                                                     Val's POV

       I was in homeroom listening to music when I was tapped on the shoulder I looked behind me and I saw goody two shoes Ariella grinning I took out my earbud and I heard Mr. Cano cough " ahem Ms. Green would you like to inform us on what you are listening to" He said, "If you must know I was listening to educational music" I said over dramatically "what Hamilton?" "no Six'' I looked around and saw everybody was confused "it's a musical about King Henry the VII's six ex-wives'' I said smirking knowing that he couldn't say anything because that's what we were learning about in class "ugh" he sighed "well I have important news we have 10 new students" he said than Jake made a huge deal of hiding under his desk and putting a book on his head like he was preparing for battle "Mr. Thorn what are you doing" Mr. Cano asked "the last time wehad new students that were Val and Lindsey they started a war between the houses'' he said causing everybody to laugh but I just rolled my eyes ''Mr. Thorn do not say anything more about any of your fellow students" " he's not wrong" I said at the same time Lindsey said it so of course I said "jinx" and Lindsiot glared at me when I gave her a smile even an idiot could tell was fake " Ms. Green'' Mr. Cano said '' fine Lindsey, Lindsey, Lindsey" I said but inside I was really excited about the new kids I couldn't wait to meet them. "Now the new students are Percy Jackson'' as the new guy walked in I took in every feature and I guessed every thing about him I can know everything about someone from just looking at them, he had black messy hair, sea green eyes and he wore the standard uniform black everything except a white undershirt where he would put his tie then I knew things he was definently not straight, he loved to swim, he had a girlfriend, he had ADHD and he was Dyslexic, and he had a big secret oh also he was an Eagle not a raven like me. "Percy Jackson Eagle, next Annabeth Chase" she had blonde hair and wore the same thing, she was Bi , she was very smart, she was ADHD and dyslexic, she had a boyfriend who is Percy and she will be a Raven. "Raven, next Leo Valdes" he had brown messy hair he was hispanic, he was bi, he was and engineer and he was stupid so Eagle "Eagle, Piper Mclean" she was beautiful and she was Bi and like the others she was ADHD and Dyslexic she also had a secret and a boyfriend"Raven, Jason Grace Eagle" Pipers boyfriend, "Hazel Levisque Raven, Frank Zangh Raven, Nico Di Angalo and Thalia Grace Eagle" none of the others really stood out except for Nico, his hair was like mine a dark glossy black except he didn't have purple streaks, he was pale like me and his eyes were brown, he loved to listen to music, he had a significant other but I couldn't tell if he was LGBTQIA+ or straight, he had a secret and he was a Raven. "Raven, Will Solace Eagle, Thalia Grace Eagle and that's it. Do we have any volunteers to show these new students around?" Mr. Cano asked I raised my hand wich everybody was surprised about I saw some other people raise their hands too "so to guide the new Ravens Valerie Green and Cara Steinberg, to guide the new Eagles Lindsey Jones and Bree Gala" he said just as the bell rang I walked towards Clara who was my best friend as the new kids came to us "Hello you are all Ravens I am Val and" I said "I'm Clara" she said interrupting me "what do you mean by Ravens?" Nico asked well we were walking down the hallway "the school is divided into two houses the Eagles and the Ravens we're always competing with each other, the Eagles are well kinda dumb but very Athletic and still win lots of trophies for a lot of things the Ravens are smart and Athletic we win lots of trophies too I am captain of the Soccer, lax and tennis teams and Clara is captain of Debate, Chess and the Mathletes" I said " Also if you might know this school only agrees on one thing that we have amazing singers the the auditions for the newest musical Mean Girls will be soon and Val is the best singer in the school" Clara said "I'm not the best what about Lindsey" I said "fine you and Lindsey are the best singers in the school are you happy?" "very" I said. I noticed that Nico was staring at me weirdly. Well this day just got a whole lot more interesting when these new kids showed up.
