SHE STEPPED OUT INTO THE cool morning. Dew and fog still visible in the air and the sun just barely peeking through the thick clouds. She closed her eyes and inhaled the fresh air of a new day. Even though she absolutely despised mornings, (she'd much rather stay up partying 'till 4 in the morning and sleep until 3 in the afternoon) she couldn't deny the morning had something magical.
Seb carefully closed the door behind him. As they descended the massive staircase, Seb wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
Finn pointed her wand at the blunt between her lips and fire ignited at the end. She smirked as she took a hit and passed it on to Seb.
Seb inhaled deeply, closing his eyes even, before opening them again and smirking at Finn.
"What?" she questioned and took the blunt back between her two fingers.
"Your weed is still the best out of the four of us," he said as he wrapped his arm closer around her.
She smiled proudly and inhaled.
"I do wonder, how do you grow it?"
"My weed?"
"Yeah."
"A girl must have some secrets." She smirked and handed it back to Seb.
He chuckled and shook his head, taking a puff. "Even from her best friend?"
She scoffed. "Who says you're my best friend out of the five of you?"
He smirked. "Oh, come on. You definitely like me best."
She smiled and they turned the corner, finally having reached the end of the endless staircase. "May be. I dunno yet."
"What'd you mean you, "dunno yet"? That's rubbish!"
She shrugged and a grin formed on her lips.
He smirked and placed a quick peck on her cheek. "No, you definitely like me best!"
She chuckled and took another hit from the joint, handing it to Seb as she leaned her head on his shoulder.
Seb took a long hit and blew it out into the air before looking down at Finn and smiling. She looked back up at him and noticed his smile fading, his eyes diverting to the ground.
"What's wrong?" she asked, taking the joint back and moving her head away from his shoulder.
"Nothing," Seb answered, shaking his head and smiling wide.
She scrunched her eyebrows. "No, something is wrong. What is it?"
"It's nothing, just leave it."
"Come on, Seb. I've known you long enough now. What's on your mind?"
Seb hesitated and took a hit from the joint, sighing as he gave it back to Finn. "D'you believe what they're saying in the Daily Prophet?" Seb asked.
