The classroom is quiet as everyone is reading the assigned chapter of their book. Only a few murmurs and light scratches on paper caused by a pencil can be heard through this silence. As well as her light breathing. He looks over to his right to find that the student next to him has fallen asleep. The book is so close to the edge of the table that even the slightest bump can cause it to collide with the floor. His boredom increases as he watches her slumber, so he turned to the clock above the doorway. It reads 2:38, only two minutes to go before the final bell rings. The rustling of book bags and jackets began to break the silence completely. The murmurs changed to idle chatter. Some of the students was talking about the upcoming weekend while others discuss of their unfinished assignment today and how boring their weekend will become because of that. However, he has nothing to worry about. He knows that he’s way ahead of the class. He’s only a few chapters ahead of everyone else and he rather keep it that way.

With only one minute to go, he decide to gather his stuff and carefully put it in his satchel. As he stood up, he laid down his satchel on the seat of his desk and grabbed his black jacket that has white buttons and a form of embroidery. He slipped his arms into the sleeves and buttoned up only four buttons, leaving the last two free. He picked up his satchel, put the handle of the bag over his head. By the time he was finished, the loud bell rang, allowing all the students to go home after a long day of school.

The bell woke up the student that sat next to him. She looked around frantically, as if she realized that she slept through the whole class. She immediately stood up, in a hurry to get her stuff together. “Damn it, Seb! Why didn’t you wake me up!?” she yells at him as she stuffs her papers, book, and various of colorful pencils into her themed book bag. He answers without changing his blank expression “You weren’t my concern, at the moment”.

She gives him a glare while she practically shoves her arms into the sleeves and picking up the handle of the bag instead of carrying it on her back. “C’mon, let’s go! We’re gonna be late for Dad!” The thought of his father came across his mind. He has completely forgotten about this special day that he has been waiting for weeks upon weeks. Today has always been a special day each year because it was his birthday, so is his twin sister. He and his twin look very much alike, like someone cloned the original to make another. However, the only difference is their personality, as well as their names. The male with no expression is named Sebastian and the female with the messy hair and an unorganized book bag is named Mia. Sebastian always looked at Mia like she never cared about school related subjects, or any subject at all. She’s only interested in video games, manga, anime, and mainly food. Sebastian, however, is different. He works hard and he’s top of every class, including gym. Whenever he’s been given an assignment, he starts right away before the teacher can explain anything. Sebastian could even go to advance classes, but he chose to stay in the same AP classes Mia is in. He can’t help the feeling of protecting and worrying about her because of her insane actions.

“C’mon…C’mon..” Mia mutters to herself, struggling to open her locker to gain the rest of her belongings. It seems to Sebastian that she has once again, forgotten her combination. He grew impatient, so he lightly pushed his rushed sister to the side and took control. Sebastian knew her combination by heart, so it only took one try to unlock it. Once he did, he opened the locker door and took out Mia’s mp3 player and her Dsi case which contains the Dsi and a few games. He hands it to her. “Thanks” she snatched the case away from his hands and clipped it onto her book bag.

Once she was all settled, she held out her hand towards him. Sebastian sighed and grabbed her hand. Mia tightened her grip on the hold as she widely grinned, then they both started to walk side by side.
