I'll not ramble on my never ending gratitude for you, so here's and intro the the world of The Rose and the cast of characters!

The Rose is set in the Eilis Empire's capital and biggest port city, Lumera. Eilis is known as the Rose Empire, due to its unique land shape (does it look like a rose? Can you see the thorns?) and its perfect climate for growing roses.
Some basic world politics:
There are three Pillars of the Empire, Healing, Sorcery and Swordsmanship. Aristocratic families are called Houses, and the Great Houses are the three most powerful ones that each specialize in a Pillar.
House of Kyrin - Healing
House of Jeon - Sorcery
House of Manoban - Swordsmanship
Characters:
Our protagonist is Rosalie Kyrin, age 18. The only daughter of House of Kyrin. She just moved to the capital for her family's Healing business. For the most part, she's cool and unruffled on the outside, but might be panicking, cackling, or ugly-crying on the inside, depending on the situation.
Now, the most exciting part - let us look at a bunch of photogenic people and squeal at them!
