"God damnit," Sapnap mumbles to himself after checking his ad for a band needing a bass and guitar player, he gets up from his bed and heads out the door, his roommate, Dream, pokes his head out his door. "You going out?" The taller questions, "Yea, I'm going to the diner, wanna come?" Sapnap looks at his phone to check the time, 1:26 A.M. "Sure, lemme get my hoodie" Dream scrambles back into his room.

"Let's go," Dream exclaims, still putting on his hoodie, Sapnap laughs. He needed a stress reliever and was grateful that Dream was awake, it's been awhile since they've gotten good sleep but they had to pay rent some how. The two make their way down the apartment stairs, "Fuck, it's cold out," Sapnap blurts not ready for the temperature, "Should've brought a jacket" Dream teases putting his hands in his pockets.

The two boys get to the diner, the warm air hit the two and their tense shoulders relax, "I'll get you two settled," a tall blonde explains with a fake smile, he was in the usual green uniform with gold accessories and white painted nails. The two follow him to an empty table with a missing pepper shaker. "I'll be back to take your orders in a bit."

Dream faces Sapnap, "we don't have pepper," the two sleep deprived boys start loudly laughing in the mostly empty diner, getting weird stares from a couple employees. "Dude, dude. Shut up we're in public" Sapnap snickers, the tall waiter comes back with a tired face, "if you two are drunk, you're gonna have to get out," he says in a stern voice. "Nono we're not drunk, we're just hungry" Dream snickers while talking, "we'll be good, I promise," Sapnap's face turns red from trying not to laugh, covering his face with his hand. With a disappointed face the waiter replies, "alright, what do you two want to drink?" Dream takes initiative and orders for the two, "Just two coffees," the waiter closes his booklet and walks away.

"we'll be good?? you promise??" Sapnap looks at Dream red faced, "what did you want me to say? I panicked" Dream explains trying not to laugh. The two calm down while they wait for coffee, they scroll on twitter occasionally getting each other's attention when they saw something funny. The waiter came back with two cups of coffee and creamer, he opened his booklet back, looking at the two for their orders. "I'll get a cheeseburger but just ketchup and pickles" The waiter nods while writing, "You guys still serving breakfast?" Dream asks, "Yup" the waiter responds quickly, "Then pancakes are fine," once again the waiter closes his booklet and walks away. "Dude it's like 2 A.M. why'd you order fucking pancakes," Sapnap ask trying not to laugh loudly, "I'm hungy" Dream responds

The waiter comes back with their order, and sits a couple of tables away from the two, "Hey Bad? I'm going to take a break, that alright?" he yells out, "Sure, Punz you want anything?" He takes off his apron and pulls his phone out, "Nah i'm fine, thanks anyways."

Dream and Sapnap start to eat, "Hey anyone respond to our ad?" Dream question, Sapnap swallows his food, "Not yet," Dream looks a little disappointed by his friend's response, "it's alright, people just don't know good musicians  when they see them, they're probably scared of us" Sapnap jokes attempting to make his friend feel better.

The conversation the two had caught the attention of their waiter, he perks over, "Yo, you guys play? he calls out, "Yea, why you know anyone who's looking for a guitarist and a bassist?" Sapnap blurts giving the blonde his full attention, "aren't you our waiter?" Dream asks but gets ignored by the other blonde walking towards the table, "Punz," he says reaching his hand out, Sapnap and Dream introduce themselves. "Me and my friend have been looking for some people to join our band, i'm on vocals, he plays the drums." Dream and Sapnap give each other an excited look, "I'm on break right now, so can I get your numbers? i'll add you guys to a group chat and we can talk after my shift." Punz ask wholeheartedly, "Fuck yea," Dream responds excitedly, they all exchange numbers and Punz creates a group chat, "I get off in an hour, you guys can chill in here, then i'll go introduce you to my friend." Punz gets up putting his apron back on, he walks back to the entrance, leading some other people to a table.

"Holy fuck." Dream turns to Sapnap, "Did that just fucking happen?" Dream almost yells, Sapnap was in complete shock, they'd had just gotten so fucking lucky, "holy shit.. that just fucking happened!" Sapnap says turning to Dream smiling wide.

{After Punz' Shift}
(Sorry I hate doing timeskip but I dunno what to put in between tho :/ )

Sapnap and Dream had forgotten that they were in public again, they were giggling loudly while spitting spitballs at each other. "Alright kids, i'm free let's go," Punz says as he's walking up to the two, putting on a backpack, "Clean up your fucking mess too," Punz starts to laugh seeing how childlike they were. "Ok, daddy" Sapnap jokes, Dream shoots another spitball and it hits Sapnap's eye, Dream starts to wheeze. "Ok, now you two are starting to embarrass me, clean that up I need to call George," Sapnap and Dream wipe down the table and chairs, cleaning up their mess, "Who's George?" Dream ask, "Oh! He's our drummer," Punz says proudly, "You three will get along" he laughs.

The three walk out of the diner, Sapnap pulls out his phone and starts typing, Dream gets a notification.

Dream looks up from his phone, "hey Punz..." Dream extends his words, Punz looks back, Dream is smiling and Sapnap is covering his mouth with his hand. "You're not gonna kidnap us, right?" Dream and Sapnap start laughing, "jesus, you two really are kids. No i'm not kidnapping you two either" Punz chuckles, "alright cool" Sapnap mutters out, giving Dream a death glare.

"Well, say you're last goodbyes, you're officially kidnapped" Punz says sarcastically, stopping in front of a slightly nicer looking apartment the boys had. "Holy shit, you're rich" Sapnap says, "Yea like rich rich." Dream adds on. "This place is a fucking dump, where the hell do you guys live?" he ask while unlocking the door that's on the bottom floor, "Hey," a British voice comes from the living room, "oh no, he's British" Dream whispers to Sapnap, Sapnap trying to control himself from laughing, takes a long breathe, before introducing themselves to the average height male with dark brown fluffy hair, he had a pair of white clout goggles on his forehead.

The four had started to drink, they had gotten along with each other well, they'd had shared embarrassing stories, and secrets they probably wouldn't have told if they weren't drinking. "So Dream, you got a boyfriend?" Punz ask while opening another bottle handing it to George. "Fuck, can't even get a girlfriend, and i'm straight." Dream takes another sip from his bottle, "Straight my ass, I see you twirling your hair at my drummer" Punz laughs, waiting for George's over exaggerated response, "Me!?" George says surprised, taking a double look at Dream and Punz, "Yea, he's the straight one," Sapnap laughs, he begins getting up to stretch, "So, you're gay?" George ask looking at Sapnap. "Yea, what about it." Punz and George look at each other and laugh, Sapnap and Dream share a look of concern at each other, "Oh shit, no- It's just that so is he" George points at Punz, "It's rude to point" Punz backfires. Sapnap sits back down, "Shit, that means me can kiss now" Sapnap jokes facing Punz. 'Fuck' Punz thinks to himself as he feels butterflies build up in his stomach.

hi i hope you enjoyed the story!! if anyone actually reads this i'll probably write more! i had so much fun writing this, and i actually laughed at some points (that could just be me cuz it's 3:16 A.M. for me and sleep deprived)
