Infinite Stratos: The Phantom Hunter

CHAPTER 1

[Somewhere in Central Asia]

In a remote mountain in central Asia dozens of fully armed personnel scattered around searching. Then the one that looks like the captain shouted an order to everyone.

"Did anyone of you found him?!."

"Negative!" "Negative".......

All of his men said one by one. This made the captain anxious he read a report about the phantom hunter rooming around in this region. If the phantom hunter is just rooming around that wouldn't be a problem. But the problem is, every time he rooms around in certain place hidden laboratory just like what they are defending right now gets destroyed one by one.

They already received an order to change location of the base but in a last minute they received a report from the scouts that they spotted a man near the base putting on halt there transfer.

But this is not the main reason because the captain read an Intel about before  the other bases got destroyed a man is also spotted. Its been three hours since they start searching by the said man but three hours have pass they found nothing.

" Captain there's nothing here we should go  back, maybe its just local hunter that our scout have spotted. "

The guy besides the captain said. The captain was about to answer when they heard a voice of a man mock them. "I must say, you are a bunch of idiots."

Hearing the mockery they all look towards where the voice is coming from and see a handsome man in his early twenties seating on a rock. They immediately felt something was off as there is no one seating on that rock earlier.

The man is none other than Rio, the captain and his men was right Rio is not here earlier as he was observing these guys find him for the last three hours in the air. He expect that they would notice him above but for unknown reason they didn't even spare a glance above.

"Who are you calling idiots? And who are you?." The captain asked then raised his rifle pointing it towards Rio who has a smile on his face. That give the captain a bad feeling because of his calmness and that scary smile Rio was giving them. So before anything happens the captain decided to erase this man so he immediately give an order. "Everyone Fire!!!."

'Brrrrt!!!'

Hundreds of bullets sore towards where Rio is sitting but he immediately hide behind the rock he was sitting causing the bullets to hit only the rocks surface only.

Rio's smile had been long gone because these guys just open fire at him but what could he expect from these people they kill without reason and besides he is also hear to eliminate them and the hidden laboratory then get the money.

"Ceasefire! Ceasefire!." Rio heard the captain ordered, Rio then grab this opportunity to pullout a black dagger then randomly throw towards the direction where the captain and his men is.

"Ahhh!!". A painful scream echo the surroundings causing Rio to smile. He didn't expect that the dagger would hit someone.

"Get the RPGs." "Fire!". Rio's expression change. "Oh shit!"

"Boooooooom!!"

"Is he dead?." One of the guys asked then the three of them slowly approach the rock . they can't clearly see because of the smoke created by the explosion. But they stop on their tracks when they heard a cracking  sound. " You are all dead."

That's the last word that the three men heard before their bodies have been slice into two. Everyone including the captain stared at the gory scene three of his men is slice like a butter he couldn't help but shake.
