E.j had been avoiding his pill plug all day. He even had to fake sick to get out of work duties so that he wouldn't run into him again.
He had been faking sick so well that he was actually starting to believe it himself. He knew because of the Covid-19 scare it would be more believable or at least the guards didn't want to risk catching the virus or spreading it to the other prisoners.
Since the global pandemic last year the prison systems had changed a lot. Everyone had to wear mask
On his way to the infirmary, he was met by the very person he was trynna avoid."Say nigga" e.j didn't even have to turn around to know who the voice belong to.
E.j silently whispered "fuck" to himself before turning around to see what the man wanted.
"What's up?" E.j asks as he turns to greet the man.
The man puts his hand out to shake hands with e.j. When e.j slapped palms with the guy he could feel small pills being transferred to his hand.
"Shit nigga I been trynna rap with u all day, got damn." The man teases.
"My bad I woke up feeling like shit man." E.j half lied.
"Ohh hell naw. You got that shit?" The man ask, wiping his hand he used to transfer the pills on his uniform.
"Naw man they just tested me for all that shit." E.j laughs.
"Man mothafucka I bet not catch nothin fuckin wit yo ass." The man jokes.
E.j thinks to himself if the man were to catch anything it would be from his closeted activities. "Naw you good." He responds instead.
"Yea bet not motherfucka. I wanted to thanks you for the other night told you I gotcha." The man boast.
"Yea." E.j responds not wanting to agree or disagree with the man. He wasn't into what they did but was in no position to protest for another man's ass literally.
"Say nigga did you hear they bout to start releasing mothafuckas early cuz of that covid shit." The man asks e.j as he starts to walk off in the opposite direction.
"Naw, where you heard that from?" E.j asks.
"Keep ya ears open youngster." The man says pointing to his ears before walking around a corner and disappearing.
Relieved was an understatement E.j could feel the tension releasing from his body. He had been worried sick all night and day for nothing.
Almost instantly after feeling relieved he felt disgusted by what he witnessed
