Kaylah's POV

I woke up during the car ride from hitting my head against the window. "Owwww" I yell.

Honesty turns around from the drivers seat, "sorry babes, it was a pothole." I rolled my eyes and put my airpods back in my ears which had fallen out from the bump. I turned up my music and stared out the window, watching the clouds slowly move from in front of the sun.

I can't believe we all managed to do this, I thought. Moving in together and going to the same college, I couldn't be happier.

My five best friends and I all graduated high school in June and got accepted into UCLA. Most of us didn't wanna live in dorms with a bunch of strangers, so Sangwoo happily convinced his dad to buy a house for us near UCLA for us to all live in. Since Sangwoo's family was fucking rich his dad accepted and all of our parents agreed as well.

I realized Sangwoo was looking back at me from the passenger seat. You ok? he mouthed. I nodded and he gave a small smile and turned back around. I turned to my left and saw Diamond who seemed to be in awe. She was taking videos of the sky and whatever we drove past and posting nonstop on snapchat and instagram. She looked at me and I took out one of my airpods cause I knew she was going to say something.

"Aren't you exciteddddd?!" she squealed while recording me. I blocked my face and giggled, "Of course I am, but I'm also tired. You know I stayed up until 4am packing. And we had to leave at 5 in the morning to get here by 12." She laughed and put down her phone, "I know I know, why didn't you have coffee??" I stared at her knowing she knew the answer. "Righttttttttt. I forgot you quit drinking coffee. It's not even that bad compared to all the other shit we do/did." I rolled my eyes knowing she was right.

We all have some sort of trauma and we all deal with it in unhealthy ways. That's how we all came to be best friends in the first place.

I looked back at her and she put her finger over her lips, motioning for me to be quiet. Then she pointed behind us and I turned around. We both immediately got out our phones to record and started silently giggling. Javier and Xavier were in the back sleeping on each other.

They look so cuteeee, I squealed in my head.

They've been best friends longer than the rest of us known each other. Their moms were best friends and when they both had a child, they became best friends as well. So they basically knew each other since birth.

I looked at Diamond and she smiled. I smiled back and put my other airpod back in my ear and leaned my head against the window, slowly drifting off to sleep.

Someone was nudging my shoulder. "Go awayyyy" I groaned, trying to go back to sleep. A few seconds later I felt wetness in my ear and jolted up. I looked around frantically only to see Javier next to me, holding the door open.

"Did you just give me a wet willy?!"

He started laughing hysterically, holding onto Xavier for balance who was also laughing uncontrollably. "You should've seen the look on your face!" They both said while laughing. They paused and looked at each other, "JINX!" They paused again and started laughing so hard they fell on the floor.

I couldn't be mad at them, I started laughing. I heard Diamond laughing loudly in the background, I knew she was waiting for it to be ok to laugh. Honesty just rolled her eyes and smiled, while Sangwoo chuckled.

We all calmed down and got our stuff from the move-in truck that pulled up shortly after. It was only really clothes and accessories; the house came fully furnished. There were 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a basement, and an attic. There was even a pool in the backyard, along with a bridge that stretched over a small part of the pool and an area where people could sit down and relax in the shade. Sangwoo looked unimpressed but satisfied, while the rest of us were amazed.
