Turbulence Tragedy

Chapter 2

The fireman, police and dozens of ambulances from all over came to help this injured and battered group. It was now nine years later and she was now fifteen. And it is going to be the first time since the accident that she is going ride on a plane. Amara was reluctant because she was afraid that the plane would crash again and that it would be worst this time that it might turn fatal.  As she cautiously boarded what she now referred to as a medal death trap, she sat down in her chair and all the memories came back to her, the screaming the torture and the pain. Her brother had only been a baby when the crash had happened, so he only had an extremely faint memory of the crash and it was mainly based on the story. She gripped her chair handles and had the face like she had seen a ghost. Her mom smiled brightly at her and gripped her hand and told her it would be fine. The plane began to go down the runway and the pace picked up faster, faster, faster. It began to go super-fast and then it slowly began to lift into the air, it rose it the bright blue sky. They were riding along in the sky and everything seemed ok, but Amara wasn’t looking at the scenery she was sitting so tensely and praying that the plane would land safely. The flight attendant came up to her row and asked if everything was ok and if she needed anything. She thought to herself “I’d sure like to get off this plane” she smiled and just said “No, I’m fine” the flight attendant walked away and she let out a sigh. After about two and a half hours they were finally arriving onto the ground. They gathered their belongings and Amara ran out of the plane all the way to the airport she got into the stable airport ground and actually starting crying a little because she was so relieved that she was okay this time. It was so exciting she was safe and alive because she had so many bad things happen throughout her life it was a nice change, because the plane crash happened when she was five, then when she was eight her father died from an motorcycle crash. And now her mother just a month and a half ago was diagnosed with cancer. That’s why they had to go on this trip, to go to a cancer treatment center to try and cure her cancer. They drove to the center and got checked in, she got set up in her room and Amara and her brother Antonio walked across the street to the hotel. They weren’t allowed to stay there since they might have a chance of getting sick. They got into their hotel room and they got situated. After a little while Amara decided to go to the pool and unwind.
