I finish editing my Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword video and set it up to post at 4 pm. I shut off my computer and walk out of my room, going straight to the kitchen.

My stomach started to growl as I opened up the fridge and took out ingredients to make my favorite dish. Wanting to quickly satisfy my hunger, I take a little less time than I probably should have to make it and plate a serving. I walk to my dining room table and set down my plate before going back to get a drink.

I can't decide what to drink, so I settle for some good ol' water. I once again head back to the dining table and start to eat my lunch. About halfway through my meal, I get my phone and check some notifications, as well as comments.

The first few comments I see make me a bit mad. Hate comments. I scroll through and read them, simply to be aware of what's going on on my channel.

ThatOneGirl174: Are you seriously trying to get popular by playing games with Corpse now!?!

CroissantMan: Whoa, what's with the hate? It's not like she only played with Corpse, she always plays with Toast and the others when she streams.

ThatOneGirl174: Ew. Are you one of her simps? Her videos aren't even that good

KittenSpectacular: Haha! I love this video! You and all of the others have such cute relationships! I hope to see more videos like this in the future! You rarely livestream ☹ !! But I also like your other videos! Especially your LOZ series! You and Quinbobin have the best videos when it comes to that franchise!! <3

Mr.MuffinTea: You're videos are boring. You should do a face reveal to spruce it up. Unless your just that ugly, then I get why you wouldn't want anyone to see you. Lmaooooo

PelicanCheese57: Why do you keep showing up on my recommended page?! I don't even like your videos! Get off my page.

"These people....holy crap they're dumb. I don't control your recommended page. Maybe if you stop clicking on my videos to comment on them, they'll go away. Woooooowww magiiiccc" I say to my screen as if the commenter could hear me.

I look back at the second comment. 'It's been a while since I saw Quin...isn't he visiting family here?' I think as I exit YouTube and go to my messages.

I send Quin a message, asking if he wanted to meet up or film a video or something, and quickly finish my lunch. I clean my dishes and get started on my daily chores.

As I do the chores, my pet cat, Mimi, jumps onto the couch and starts meowing at me. I shuffle over to her and take her off the couch before petting her. I go over to the laundry closet and get out her food. She's gotten into a habit of only coming out of hiding when my husband wasn't around or when she was hungry. Because she came out an hour earlier than usual, I only assumed it was the latter.

I put half a cup of food into her bowl and then put the rest away.

Right as I step away, she comes from behind me and starts to eat. I smile at her small figure and then leave to continue my chores.

I make dinner for my husband and leave it on the table, wrapped in saran wrap so it didn't get as cold and so the cat couldn't touch it. I write a little note, saying that I'm out running an errand, and then leave.

I walk to town and take in all of the lights from the shops and restaurants.

I go to a cat bar that is owned by a very kind but energetic girl. The place wasn't only a bar, it was more of a mix between bar and café. The place was really well decorated. Unlike the outside, the inside was very cutesy and bright. Unlike what you'd think, the color pallet was entirely neutral colors with some vibrant colors here and there.

The prices were quite high, but it still brought in a lot of customers because of the service, food, and entertainment. I've been wanting to apply ever since it opened, but that would require me to be away from home all day, so my husband never allowed it.

I take my seat on a sofa near a corkboard that has announcements, events, and ads on it. This time, I also spot an application form for the café-bar.

Without thinking, I grab the form and scan over it, starting to fill it out. Near the end, my regular waiter asks for my starting drink and goes to tell the bartender. While my drink is being made, I finish my application and go over it again to make sure that I filled it out correctly.

My waiter comes back with two drinks. After he gives me mine, he sets the other on the coffee table in front of the empty seat on the couch. I look up from the application to look at him.

The waiter, Liam, was taking off his waist apron, neatly folding it before setting it on the armrest and sitting down on the empty spot of the sofa.

"It's been a while since you last come by. Did you finally get paid?" He asked jokingly.

"Hahaha, no, I've just been busy is all," I replied.

"I bet. I don't make as much as you do and I'm still busy. I can't afford to come here and get a meal, snack, and the cat deal every week. I'm surprised you and a few others can." He says as he picks up a tabby cat named Oliver.

"What can I say, I love these little munchkins." I say as I softly but aggressively rub Oliver's back, "I want to help this place thrive so that you guys can continue to take care of them"

As I'm talking, a Turkish Angora gets out of a cubie and makes its way to us. As soon as it's close enough, I see its heterochromatic eyes. Immediately, I recognize him as my favorite of the bunch, Wren. I pet him when he gets to my feet and let him roam around.

"I don't even want to think about what will happen to all of these cats if this place shuts down," I say, looking over the customers playing with the cats.

"We're going to have to raise the prices here soon," Liam says, his gaze focusing on Oliver. "With the number of owners leaving their cats here, we won't have enough money to buy supplies for them as well as keep the business alive."

My eyes widen when I hear the news. I look at my bag where I placed the application. 'If they hire me, not only with my husband be pissed, but they'll have one more thing to worry about...'

I look back to Liam and consider some possibilities. Suddenly, two ideas hit me.

"What if I were to give a portion of my paycheck as donations?? I have more than I need and I wouldn't mind." I suggest. Before he can answer, I continue, "Or I could hold a fundraiser-type thing at my job. I don't know how well it would go, but I'm sure I could at least raise a few hundred for you guys."

Liam's quiet for a little, "I'd rather we not take a portion of your paycheck. You already spend a lot here, I wouldn't want to take more from you... As for the second idea, it could work. If you're willing to do that to help us out, I'll talk to Julie about it. Her word is law here after all." He says chuckling a bit.

"Of course! Just text me when you get her answer. I'll start setting things up at home." I smile.

We continue chatting for a couple minutes before he's called back to work. He quickly puts his apron back on and takes out empty drinks from the table. "I'll text you later about the fundraiser." "mhm! See you next time!" I say as he leaves to the back.

I get up as well. It's now 9:30, hopefully, my husband would be passed out on the couch by now.

I go to pay the bill at the front desk, add the cat deal to the charges, and then say goodbye to my fuzzy friends.

When I walk out of the café/bar, I choose to walk around town instead of going home with the chance that my husband was still awake.
