<Rosa's Perspective>
I was confused as to why this man had grown to me so much.
I had to leave.
I have to rest and get ready for tomorrow.
In a month we are going to court, and before it, I have to associate with this man my heart skips a bit when laying my eyes on him.
I slept through the night feeling uneasy.
The next morning Clara came and I went to Heldom's mansion once again.
Alexa, Elijah, and all his crew members were there.
We discussed and made our plans for court.
I avoided Heldon's gaze and his whole existence whenever I could.
I noticed that the little girl was not in the house and a sigh of relief came out of me.
But I also felt sad not seeing her.
I was scared o having a panic attack again.
We were almost done when Shane came up at me,
-Hey, beautiful! You owe me a race, remember?
I laughed, he was a really funny guy.
Only he dared approach me this way in this room.
I appreciated that, it made me ease up a little.
He came to my side and place his hands on my shoulders.
My gaze immediately turned to Heldom's side.
I don't know why.
It felt like I was doing things wrong.
And it annoyed he had such an effect on me, just by starin at me.
-Sure, handsome!
I stood up and followed him.
-Hey! Wait for us!
Layla exclaimed running on me and landing on my back, and I carried her.
It felt sore, but I was okay with it.
-Don't do this, she's hurt, Lydia.
Heldom gave her a warning look and she scoffed him off.
She asked me if I was okay,
-I'm okay!
-You sure?
-Yes Layla!
-Let's go then, beauties!
Alexa exclaimed putting her arms around me and Clara, while the boys were laughing at Clara's excitement.

We reached the course grounds and dressed accordingly.
In the dressing room, Alexa looked at me with an admirable look.
-You like him, don't you?
She stated.
I froze for a moment but did not refuse the truth.
-I shouldn't.
-No, you definitely should. You are really brave. Such a man takes guts to tame.
-let's just go!
-Yes, go!
Lydia answered.
-Hey, hey, hey!
Shane came up to me and grabbed my hand, leading me to the race grounds.
-Let's see what you can do baby!
We both got to our cars and the spokesman counted down to one.
-I wanna see this!
Asher was excited to see Shane lose for once.
-She's gonna win!
-I think not, Alexa!
-Why not, Mike?
-Because she is tired today!
-Bullshit!
They were discussing and we started our engines.
He was a sly rider and also a quick one.
Just like how he is with women.
I could understand how he'd race immediately.
Does he like sharp turns?
I made them look like child's play, not giving him any face.
But he was a professional racer, I couldn't make him look too bad, right?
I didn't win him, but we reached the finish line in the same second.
He hugged me like the champ he was, and we both went back to the others.
-That was impressive, Rosa!
Alexa said and we both laughed knowingly.
-Big, bad, Shane West was almost won over by a woman!
-That's sexist!
Clara exclaimed angrily, and everyone laughed again.
-Not bad.
Asher added.
Heldom's eyes never stopped gazing at Shane's hands on my body.
My eyes twitched when our gazes met from time to time.
We raced a few more times with the girls while Heldom and Elijah sat at a booth, doing some work.
After, I went back to my house and couldn't sleep.
I couldn't stop thinking about him at all after each encounter.
