As we entered the house the girl was able to lead me to her father. I heard a man grunt, almost like he was in pain. " Who's there?," he asked. " Father," the girl said. I turned the corner to see a man, bleeding on the floor. " Father, are you alright?," she asked. " Y-yeah," he said, coughing in response. " Oh, thank goodness," she said. " We're going to get through the gate i promise-," " WHO ARE YOU!?!," the man asked, interrupting her sentence. Before i could answer the girl answered for me. " He's going to help us get through the gate," she said, looking at me. He grunted a little more, trying to move. " N-No," he said. " He's an outsider, who know's what he's capable of?," he asked, coughing immediately afterwards. " Listen, i'm not here to hurt you, i don't know where i am, and i don't know what's going on around here," i said. " But whatever's happening i'll try my best to get you across the gate," i promised. " Heh," he silently said." We don't need help from outsiders like you," he said. " Dad," the girl said in anger. " We have a chance or else we won't be able to make it," she said. It was silent for a moment until he groaned. " Fine," he said. " Here let me help you," i offered. On three me and the girl wrapped his arms around our shoulders and help him up. The walk was a little hard but at least it was steady so we didn't hurt the man even more.
We walked across the bridge just to make it to the gate. As we walked i looked at the girl. " If i don't bother asking but...what's your name?," i asked. She sighed in exhaustion but kept going. " My name is Elena, i was named after the lost princess," she said." Lost princess?," i asked. " yeah, long ago the girl was born in a small village in our town. Her mother Alcina Dimiestresu was a regular villager who fell in love with no ordinary man and his power was the most powerful of all," she said, walking. " The girl lived for only a year until she passed away. After the girl passed Alcina died shortly through a broken heart afterwards. Till this day many believed that the man she have fell in love with carried her and her daughters body of into the underground where she may rest until this day." she explained. Her dad wheezed in response. " You still believe that fairy tale?," he asked. " It's not a fairy tale dad, it had a prophecy," she said. The old man clicked his teeth in response. " Prophecy, what prophecy? That story was made up by a crazy old woman in the 1800s," he said, trying his best to laugh. By the time we made it the gate was closed. " No," Elena said in response. " N-no they didn't-," she became silent for a moment. " What are we going to do?," she asked. " We have to get in," she said in a verge of panic. " Hey, calm down," i said. " I can get you over there," i said.
" Are you sure? The gate is pretty strong," she said. " Don't worry, i got this," i said. I let the old man go, letting his daughter hold him. I walked towards the gate and examined it. Of course the lock was on here pretty tight so i knew we wasn't going to get in any way. I looked around the gate to see a huge log beside it. This brought me and idea. I picked the log up and headed towards the gate. I stepped back a few times. Before i ran Elena called. " Please be careful," she said. As i rammed the log into the gate a few times, causing it to slowly break. Once it reached the final blow the door burst open. " You did it," she said in disbelief. I put the log down and walked towards them. " You did it," she said with a smile. " I can't believe you actually did it," she said in response. " Come on," i said, helping the man up off of the ground. As we walked inside we reached a large house, almost a little like a mansion if it was a little more bigger. " There it is," she said, pointing towards the house." Is this the place?," i asked." Yes," she said. She walked up to the door and gently knocked. " Luiza?," she said, yet received no answer. She took a breath and banged on the door. " LUIZA, IT'S ME ELENA!," she shouted. She kept banging until a shot gun was pointed at her. " Not so loud, they'll hear you," a man said. " Sorry it's just-," The man turned over and pointed the shotgun at me. " Wait a minute....YOU'RE AND OUTSIDER!," he shouted. " JUST LIKE THAT GIRL LUIZA LET IN!," he shouted. " Wait? What girl?," i asked.
" Lulian, he was the one who helped us, he's the reason we were able to make it and-," he pointed the shotgun back at her, interrupting her words. " Help? We don't need help from outsiders," he said. " I bet him and that...GIRL is the reason Mother Miranda turned her back on us, NOW LOOK WHERE WE ARE!," he shouted. " Don't you dare blame it on him or the girl Luiza saved, we all don't know what happened, it just happened out of nowhere," she said. "Oh put a sock in it Elena," he shouted. " It's obvious it was because of outsiders, you know what? When morning hits we'll all be dead," he said, pointing the gun at her. " Hey," a woman said, coming from the hallway. She had on a black dress and a jacket that looked well made and brand new. She looked angry and frustrated at the same time. " Luiza," Elena said, giving her a hug. She looked at the jacket for a moment. " W-where did you get this?," she asked. Luiza smiled. " Well the kind girl made it for me," she said, a small smile growing on her face. " You like it?," she asked. " I love it," she silently said, checking it out.

The man scoffed, rolling his eyes. " It's just a cardigan, so what?," he asked. " Lulian," Luiza said, giving him a harsh death glare. She sighed in response and turned towards me. As she looked at me she gave me a welcoming smile. " Welcome to our home, you don't have to worry anymore, we'll protect you," she said, giving me a small smile. " Thanks but...i'm just looking for my daughter, Rose," i said. " Rose?," she asked." We haven't heard of such," she said. We were silent for a moment until she spoke. " Come inside, we don't want to get caught," she said. We followed her inside until we reached the back room. Once we reached the backroom we sat the man down in a chair. " Now, i hope you're hungry because i made soup," she said. " Thank you so much Luiza," Elena said. " No problem," she said. " Any friend of mine is always wel-," before she could finish her words the door opened to reveal a girl i never thought i see. " Do you still have more yarn?," she asked. " Yes, it's in the back," Luiza said. SHe turned her head for her eyes to widened. My eyes widened to. " Eleanore?,". Her eyes teared up a little. A tear fell on the floor,making a small sizzling noise. " Ethan," she said. Without another word passed me and Eleanore gave each other the biggest hug. " Eleanore, i'm so happy to see you," i said. " I never thought you would be here," she said, clutching tighter to me. She chuckled in response.
