Wonwoo was annoyed.
Not because of the adventure he practically was forced to go on, but because of the fact it was cold.
He hated the cold.
Maybe it was because of his short fur and the fact there were rays of light he could sleep in.
" You poor cat. " Mingyu frowned, snapping his fingers.
The cat flinched, opening his eyes and looking down at his paws.
They were white.
His fur before had no spot of white on him.
He had the thought to look at his back and puffed up when he did.
He was fluffier.
" Now you shouldn't be super cold anymore. " Mingyu smiled, picking his familiar up and hugging him with a cheeky smile.
" Um.... " A voice sounded causing the pair to look down into the water in front of them.
" What is it? " Mingyu spoke.
" Well there's a little problem- There's a wall of ice blocking us from continuing forward. " Mingi mumbled, half of it sounding as trills.
" That shouldn't be too hard to get past- "
" I'm not done. Two other things is that Minghao is on his way to becoming someone's familiar and that Hongjoong is nearing the end of his pregnancy. " The dragon continued, trilling at Yunho to stay where he was as he climbed onto the tiny boat.
" Neither of those are negative things. " Wonwoo meowed, squinting at the beast.
" Well it is for sea dragons. We're a water species, not winter. It would be different if our region of dragons were trained for winter swimming but we're southern dragons. If you want a cold swimmer, you'll need a whole different dragon or species. " Yunho spoke, his snout plunged in the water again as he shivered.
" And as guardians of the prince's husband, we are supposed to be present at this time during the pregnancy because of how vulnerable he is. " Mingi sighed, " It's been 6 months, we should head back. I'm sure they've come to terms with Minghao's new life now. "

" Ow- " Hongjoong hissed, wincing as he looked at his belly.
" What's wrong? " Seonghwa instantly appeared, looking at his mate worriedly.
" Nothing, Hwa, just normal braxton hicks contractions. " The smaller smiled, petting the older's head as he started to waddle carefully out of the cabin.
They're cabin had been built with more rooms than the others, considering they had two almost full grown sea dragons with them and a baby on the way it would make sense.
" Okay...well tell me when you're in pain again. " Seonghwa mumbled and his husband rolled his eyes.
" I will. "

Felix sighed with content as he nuzzled his face into the large dragon's fluffy fur.
Hyunjin smiled kindly, giving a small huff as he rested a wing on the boy's back.
" Hyunjin? " Felix mumbled, earning a small hum from the dragon.
" When do you think all this fighting will end? I don't want any more of my friends to end up like Minghao did. I mean...sure he's back but he's still dead. He still is only a spirit that has chosen us to be the people that see him. He still disappears during the day. He's not actually here. I don't want that to happen again. " Felix frowned, earning a frown from the older.
" I don't know, Felix. Your home is filled with dragon refugees that are still being hunted by both humanlike creatures, other dragons, and monsters. " The dragon sighed, " The only reason me and my friends are here is because our Kingdom was taken over and we were literally wiped out almost. Unless there are a few other survivors out there, Dino, San, and I are the only flyer dragon's left. "
" And it's not good either... "

" Hwa! How's Hongjoong? " Jun asked, walking up with the crystal outline of Minghao following behind him.
" Jeonghan predicts that tonight will be the night. " The boy smiled, his tail wagging at the thought of meeting his child.
" I'll be watching you guys from above, I hope all goes well. " Minghao smiled, his tail wagging slowly.
" To think you two will be the first ones to have a baby here is amazing, I'll wish you guys luck. " Jun smiled as well, walking off with Minghao.
Though, the cheerfulness would slowly disappear as a shriek sounded from the entrance causing everyone to freeze.
" They're attacking us! Everybody hide or run- or something! " Vernon yelled, making a break for the middle of camp as he fearfully looked at the shadows starting to look over the camp.
Seonghwa? What's happening?! Why are they screaming outside?!
Seonghwa flinched, hearing his mate's scared voice enter his thoughts after such a long time.
I'm coming, just stay in the house and hide in the best spot you can manage to fit in.
And don't move.
Seonghwa hissed as the strangers at the entrance scowled at them in disgust.
The collars on their necks made the boy's eyes widened as he started to run back to the cabin.
They're here to capture us, Joong! Don't let them find you before I can.
I'm on my way!
The sea dragon trilled out, sprinting to the cabin.
However, a quick message made him move faster than ever.
Seonghwa...I think it's time.
