When San said he couldn't wait for something exciting to happen...this was not what he meant.
" San, calm down. " The dragon heard his mate say, his tail still lashing as he glanced back behind him with a vicious snarl.
Yeosang flinched at the feral look in the younger's eyes as the prince suddenly ran forward and tackled down one of the strangers.
The shapeshifter looked around, where was Dino? He could see that the camp was either fighting or finding someplace to hide.
But Dino wasn't anywhere to be found.
" Move out of the way Yeosang! " Jeonghan snarled, shielding his friend from the sudden blast of dark energy by matching the power with a large ball of fire.
" ...Sorry....thanks, Jeonghan- " Yeosang mumbled, scrambling to his feet. " Have you seen Dino? "
" Last time I checked, the kid was somewhere in the clouds. He said he was trying to find the source of the attack. " The older replied before leaping back into battle.
Something wasn't right...

" I know it hurts, sweets. But you have to be quiet. " Seonghwa mumbled, holding his husband in his arms tightly as they both hid in a closet in the basement.
" It...It hurts... " Hongjoong sobbed, clinging to Seonghwa as pain seemed to take over his senses.
" I know, I'm sorry...This shouldn't have turned out like this. " The older hushed, wiping the boy's tears.
Angry footsteps sounded towards the closet before it suddenly opened in the middle of the moment, though the stranger didn't seem to find anything.
Why?
Looking at the inside of the closet, nothing was exactly there but at the same time there was something there.
They were invisible.
With no light to illuminate the scales on their tails, horns, and ears, they were practically invisible.
Darkness is a sea dragon's last resort.
Seonghwa had learned this in his younger years, that sea dragons can be in the darkness long enough for them to be invisible to outsiders.
It came in handy, but that also meant that he couldn't exactly see how Hongjoong was progressing in the labor.
A loud screech was heard, followed by a few more before everything went quiet.
Dead silence.
" Stay here. I promise you, I will be back. " Seonghwa spoke quietly, placing his mate down gently as he stalked through the shadows to remain unseen.
He had made it to the outside of the cabin when he reappeared to see a large fluffy creature chasing the surviving enemies out of camp while two figures worked to disperse the eroding bodies.
" It's over...for now... " Felix huffed, holding Hyunjin's hand tightly.
Seonghwa looked at the mess in the fields before realization hit him again and he let out a loud yelp.
Attention turned towards him as he stared at the group in panic.
" Hongjoong! He needs help! "

It took some work, but they managed to shift the boy to one of the beds that had the sheets changed for Hongjoong and the arrival of their baby.
" He's losing strength. " Jeonghan mumbled, frowning at the tired and dazed look on the short boy's face.
It was silent until a quiet cheer from Jun sounded.
" The head's out! " He smiled, preparing the towels for when the baby was finally brought into the world.
" Keep going, Joong! Just a little bit more. " Seonghwa whispered, kissing Hongjoong's head.
Silence echoed in the room yet again, everyone worried with how silent Hongjoong had become. It was clear the poor boy was drifting in and out of consciousness and that he was exhausted from everything.
" Once the baby has arrived, I'll let you rest. But you can't rest until they are here. " Seonghwa said softly, earning a weak nod from the other.
A few minutes went by before Hongjoong exhaled heavily and let his head fall back as loud cries echoed throughout the room.
Jeonghan let out a cheer at the same time the cries sounded, handing the baby over the Jun after he cut the umbilical cord.
Jun didn't take long to clean the baby off and put a diaper on the little dragon before rushing to the new parents.
Hongjoong was already drifting off again while Seonghwa was smiling with tears in his eyes.
" Congrats, " Jun smiled happily as he gave the bundle of pastel yellow to the new father.
" It's a girl. "
