As what seems like days within the game were minutes in the outside world Naihe and Weiwei had made a sizable dent in the couple questing list that they had. Occasionally they had partnered up with random members of Weiwei's former guild. They were either Nini or another member that Weiwei had been friendly with. They had been keeping their distance from anything that had to do with the Xiaoyu family or anyone that they considered to be connected to them. For the most part the couple's relationship had been growing stronger. They were learning much about each other during what they called their down time. She told him about growing up in Wuhan and about her parents working in the same factory. He in turn told her about the budding company he was building with his dorm mates and their plans on creating games then transitioning into cyber security. She had playful suggested that they might need an intern this summer and he had jumped on the chance to have Weiwei to be working side by side with him and offered a spot interning with him. She only agreed when she was reassured that it would be a serious internship and not an excuse for her to not go back to her parent's house during the summer. She hadn't told him but she had already decided and was planning to aggressively look for an internship so they would not have to be parted for too long. Him offering an internship saves her the trouble of having to look.

They were contemplating starting the next set of quests on their list when Nini messaged them to see if they wanted to try to take on Youming Guilao boss. It was a new quest and Nini had heard that it was quite difficult. Both Naihe and Weiwei had agreed but suggested that they get a few more people to help out. Naihe had suggested a range fighter and a random class and Nini sent the message out to the guild chat. Unfortunately for Nini the person to answer was Zhenshui Wuxiang and he said that he would be bringing Yaoyao with him.

Nini had taken a breath to compose herself before she verified that everyone else were okay working with each other Weiwei and Naihe just shrugged as though it didn't bother them but Yaoyao tried to get Weiwei and Naihe to drop out after Zhenshui Wuxiang and her were here to bring honor to the guild. Behind Yaoyao's back Nini was rolling her eyes at the absurdity of Yaoyao's statement. Naihe just wanted to get the quest over with and took charge by telling everyone to prepare to start. Which had cut Yaoyao's rant off before it could get traction. As the group was about to enter the cave of Youming Guilao's lair Nini asked who should lead and Naihe could tell that Zhenshui Wuxiang was about to nominate himself as leader and said the quest shouldn't be too hard so it didn't matter who was leader. Weiwei knew what her husband was doing by downgrading the level of the boss and she had to admit that her Dashen was truly a devious man. She watched as a vein seemed to twitch on Zhenshui Wuxiang's forehead before she stated that since the quest wasn't so hard that she would be taking the lead and entered the cave first. Naihe and Nini shared a smirk and soon followed the swordswoman in red.

The aggros were not too hard to beat. The only problem with the quest was that Yaoyao had a bad habit of not following the group and wound up being attacked by various aggros. Weiwei almost sure that it had to be on purpose but was it so Zhenshui Wuxiang could rescue her as the damsel in distress or if she was purposefully trying to wipe the party she didn't know nor did she care. When they were about to enter the boss's domain Weiwei turned serious and started to bark directions on what each person's job was going to be.

Xiao Nai had to admit he did not mind for his wife to boss him around. She took charge like a general leading her soldiers to battle. She didn't let the power go to her head; she treated it like it was her greatest responsibility. He could see that she would be taking her role as a CEO's wife quite seriously and would be taking care of their employees with the utmost care.

Little did Naihe know that he was not the only one fantasizing Weiwei bossing him around. Zhenshui Wuxiang was also enjoying Weiwei bossing him around but not for the reasoning that Naihe was thinking his thoughts were much more impure. He could not wait until Luwei Weiwei realized that he was the better man. He was going to have her beg for a second chance and when he felt that she had begged enough he was going to have his way with her. And she would be so appreciative. But first he was going to beat this boss and make sure that no money husband of her's perished before they finished. Zhenshui Wuxiang bided his time while he waited for the boss to be near dead before shooting an arrow into the back of Yixiao Naihe causing him the guqin player to lose his hold on the boss's aggro. Unfortunately Zhenshui Wuxiang did not account for two things: the first was Yaoyao's terrible playing and the second that the boss would take his special attack and shoot it back at him, knocking him out briefly. His anger increased when he realised that it was Yixiao Naihe reviving both him and Yaoyao and also taking the killing strike at the boss within a blink of an eye. The moment that the boss disappeared he felt a blade at his throat. He looked down and saw an extremely pissed off Luwei Weiwei.

"What the hell do you think you were doing?" Weiwei's voice was low and dangerous.

"I have no idea what you are talking about Luwei Weiwei." Zhenshui Wuxiang tried to play dumb.

"Cut the crap. Don't think I didn't see you shoot an arrow into the back of Naihe. So I will ask you one more time, Zhenshui Wuxiang. What the hell do you think that you were doing?" Weiwei shoved her sword closer to Zhenshui Wuxiang's throat. How dare that bastard shoot a party member in the back. It was more unforgivable that he dared to attempt to hurt her Dashen.

"Luwei Weiwei, how dare you threaten Zhenshui Wuxiang. You are nothing but a bully. I don't care what that shadow said." Yaoyao screeched.

Weiwei chanced a look at the harpy before lowering her weapon glaring at Zhenshui Wuxiang as she did. "You are a spineless coward. If I ever see you attempt to harm my husband or anyone I care for again. I will end you, permanently. Not just online." she warned in a deadly voice. Weiwei turnt and told Nini that she and Naihe were leaving first.

"But what about the loot?" Nini meekly asked. She had never seen Weiwei this angry and was almost afraid that Weiwei might just bite anyone's head off at this point. She did not want to be on the receiving end of Weiwei's ere.

"Keep it." Weiwei smiled thinly at her friend. "Naihe and I have been around this game for a long time. We have no need for trinkets. Let me know if there is another quest you need help with. Just be sure to not have any more weak willed backstabbers in the party in the future." It was a thinly veiled warning and Nini did not need to be told twice.

"Come Weiwei. Let's go home." Naihe reached his hand out to her and led her out of the dungen leaving the other three to their own devices.

When the two returned to their in-game home. Xaoi Nai knew that Weiwei was too angry to quest at the moment and needed time to get her anger in check. He didn't think that Weiwei would ever lose her temper like that. He was pretty sure for the most part she probably internalized her anger like he does. But did admit to himself if the positions were reversed he would probably act in the same way or worse. Weiwei being that protective of him made his heart soar. He wasted no time showing her his appreciation by pulling her into his arms and deeply kissing her. He didn't expect for her to return his level of passion in the kiss. While she was an active participant in kissing; Weiwei was normally more shy with her affections. He could get used to this passionate Weiwei.

"The nerve of that man attacking you while your attention is elsewhere. He better hope that I don't see him again anytime in the near future. You're mine to protect." Weiwei snarled before kissing Xiao Nai again.

"As you are mine, Furen." hugged her tight so he could cool both of them down. Both of their hormones were running high; he didn't want them to go past a point that they would both regret. Neither of them were ready for that step. Their relationship was too new and they were both still in college. "My fierce warrior goddess." he whispered as he rubbed calming circles down her back and kissed the crown of her head.

The two stood in the entryway of their home for quite some time. They both silently agreed that they will be working on quests by themselves for exiting the game from now on. They did not blame Nini but they also did not want to be put in that position ever again. They may occasionally do some random monster hunting in the future but it will take sometime before either were willing to do that.
