Chapter 3: A day off

The sun shines through the room, illuminating the room. It was a very sunny day, a perfect day for going to the beach and play on the waves.

The light pierces Cos's eyes. He opens his eyes and observed his room. Looking to the side of his bed. It was Angelina fast asleep whilst hugging him. How long was it since the last time they've slept together like this? He rubs her head and tried to wake her up.

"Oi...Angelina.." He said slowly.

"Oi..And here i thought you always wakes up first to wake myself up."

He proceed to change his tactics and blew on her ears. Her ears twitches but not a single movement from the one who have the ears. He sighed and starts pinching her cheeks.

"Haawwgghhh...Stwaahhppp.."

"If you want me to stop then wake up you sleepy fox."

"Hngghh...morning..."

"Morning, how about wash your face up on the bathroom first before getting breakfast?"

"I would..love that.."

Angelina washes her face in the bathroom, used a small paper towel and went to the cafeteria with Cos. They ordered the same thing as yesterday.

"So, since it's a day off, what do you wanna do?" Cos asked.

"Hmmm....How about help me shop with Mun in Lungmen?"

"Mun eh? I see no problem with it. Sure."

Mun employed mostly at Penguin Logistics, but sometimes she does hang out on Rhodes Landship from time to time with Exusiai mostly.

Angelina and Cos met up with Exusiai and Mun, they all shopped for stuff. Angelina mostly make ups, Mun bought some sleeping clothings, Exusiai buys...apple pies and other junk foods. And of course, Cos prepared his wallet.

They also chatted in a nearby café while eating desserts and Cos had to pay for it all..rip wallet.
Aside from the wallet, they all had fun.

They we're walking in the mall, the girls looked for clothings meanwhile Cos just stands outside. Looking at the mall's scenery. It was pretty crowded and lively. He decided to take a small walk, but then Cos stumbled upon a familiar face when he was walking around.

"Whoops, sorry!" Cos apologized for bumping into someone.

"Oh, it's no proble-"
"C-Cos?!" The person called out his name.

"That voice...Ch'en?!"

They looked at each other straight in the eyes. Emotions rushed on both of them. Both of them missed each others. Back in the days, they used to be the undefeatable duo in Victoria University. But then, Cos graduated early since his skills is unmatched, even the teachers had problems against him. Cos approached Ch'en and hugged her.

"I miss you, you grumpy dragon."

"O-Oi! Who are you calling Grumpy Dragon?! And hands off!"

He released his grip. "Are you shy? Or just grumpy eh?" He jokingly said.

"Tch! I forgot about that annoying part of you.." She said in annoyance. "Even though you sounded like a pain in the back like how you used to be, it's good to meet you again." She gave a small smile.

"What bring you here?" Cos asked.

"Oh, just, taking a break from work. My assistant Hoshiguma said i need a break."

"I see, oh, do you remember this?"

Cos raised his hand, opened his palm. A mini space rift appeared on his hand, a half-round gold object comes out from the rift.
