Chapter 7, Book 2: After everything, and the end.

I resigned from Rhodes Island after Reunion has fallen. I still continue to help Rhodes when i have the time though.

Currently, im just an freelancer. I then told Ch'en everything about myself and the past timeline before i resetted everything.

She might have been caught of guard with everything. We also got together again though so it's all good in the end.

Patriot was defeated. Talulah is imprisoned in Rhodes Island. As of now, me and Ch'en had a stable relationship with each other.

Time by time i would come to her office to check up on her. Im still a freelancer after all. And that part of myself will never change.

I've bounty hunted lots of bounty. Did lots of dirty work as well, and made friends with another bounty hunter.

I can say i enjoyed my new life, i've done everything i can.

3 years later, i and Ch'en finally got married again, we also had a male child we naned Yang. Of course, we raised him to be healthy and strong. He has the same features like me, but also a lung's horns and tail.

I may resetted the timeline, which means the cure to my 25 year curse was resetted. But i still had a spare vial on me all the time so it didn't bother me as much.

Then by 4 years later, he started going to school. I was still freelancing but Ch'en is encouraging me to not take more dirty jobs. Well, i do still want to get the most money but..being a housedad sounds good enough for me.

Time by time i lead my child to become a man who he can be relied on. He gets more successful. By age 12, i've trained him to become a person who can defend themselves.

Teached him about spatial control and time alteration. And then i teached him close-combat and marksmanship skills.

My-my, he improved so fast. He already mastered everything by 14. He was at the top of his class as well. I am definently proud of my child.

Of course i never pushed him to the edge. Everytime after he trains, i always go out for a drive with him or buy some deserts.

Oh, right, i forgot to mention we also had a daughter when Yang became 2. His sister, Chloe is...strict with her schedule like someone i know..

Boy, how both of them are geniuses. I tried training her but it seems she's more suited to be a scientist. I tried teaching her the most out of the science and man how proud i was to see her becoming the world best scientist.

Chloe has no lung features, instead, she has the features of mine. A halo and a translusent crystal-shaped wings. Just like a sankta, but she isn't.

By age, i saw them grow, the more i felt sad leaving them. I teached them and raised them both to the highest. Unfortunately LGD was so busy we can't really have much parties with Ch'en..but, im sure she saw the growth on our child from afar.

Then i remembered...i can't die, in fact..the curse of immortality hasn't been lifted.

I held Ch'en's arm tightly in a hospital bed. It has been 6 decades since the events of Reunion.

I, accompanied with Chloe and Yang, accompanies Ch'en everyday. I stayed 24/7 beside her.
