Your Pov:
I took my sweet time to get out of my car, sitting in the cargo hold for at least 15 minutes when I got out I put my cell in my pocket and my best poker face on. If I play by her rules I'll keep everyone safe, my brother, my boyfriend, Letty and Mia.

There was a man waiting when I passed through the first door. One of the men gave me the directions to get to the computer room where cipher spends her time. As soon as I got there a redheaded guy stood up and in my way. He had a smirk on his face but I'm really not in the mood, as a matter of fact I'm in a really bad mood. A violent one too.

"Get out of my way" I told him when he remained in place.

"Say that again" He said, losing the smirk.

"What am I, an answering machine? If I repeat it, you'll be far past having the ability to hear it. Now move"

"I'm going to enjoy this" He replied, smiling.

"Not as much as I am, ginger"

"Welcome back y/n. Nice job out there, excited about tonight?" Cipher smiled as she walked over to me.

"You're going on this?" The redhead asked.

Seems like the big boss is having some fun with the footman.

"You're with me" She told me, glaring at the guy.

Everyone around them looked up at his audacity before looking back at the computers quickly. Someone is playing a game that's gonna get him in trouble. You never question the boss in front of the other minutemen. Hmm, there's some entertainment to have after all.

Cipher walked away and I followed her into my personal version of heaven. It's a weapons closet, and everything is displayed as if they were the most expensive of bright, big, and fancy jewels. After all of this is over and if my family will ever forgive me, maybe I can talk to Dom into making something like this for us.

"Showing me your show collection?" I asked.

"Yup. A pair for every occasion" She smugly replied, pulling out a small wall with assault rifles that made my previously black heart sing.

"Hmm, this is absolutely beautiful. There's enough guns here to outfit a small army"

"Oh this is just the tip of the iceberg" She said as she sat down "You know what I like about you, y/n? You're a smart woman who knows that she's smart. You know your place, you know that you belong at the war council at the head of the table. You're a genuine outlaw just like your boyfriend. Which is surprising because I heard about a guy who almost killed him with a motorcycle. He let the guy keep his car even though Dom won"

"That confused you?" I asked.

"Yeah, just like it confuses me how you can go to all those street races and watch those woman shamelessly throw themselves at your boyfriend. Yet you still go and smile at them"

"Of course I could bitch and argue, I could tell Dom to give up something he loves to do but I would never do that to him or my family"

"Hmm . . . proceed"

"Like I said, I could've done all those things, and my boyfriend could've taken the guy's car but it's about something bigger" I said as I closed the AR display. "This way . . . doing things our way . . . we changed them" I told her.

"That's not your personality" She argued.

"It's who I am, who we've always been"

"Is it really? Let me ask you, y/n, what's the best thing in your life?"

"My family" I replied without a shadow of a doubt and guilt.

They'll understand, once this is all over, my family will be safe and it would have been worth everything I did. My family's safety is worth every bad situation I have to go through so they don't have to.

"No it's not" She smiled "If you're being honest, it's the 10 seconds between the start and finish when you're not thinking about anything. No family, no obligations, just you and your car being free. This whole saving the world? It's bullshit, it's not who you are. Be who you are"

"What the hell makes you think that you know who I am?"

"Because I do, I've seen you racing. I've been watching you y/n, and I've seen you go out at night and just drive. I've seen you leave your brother and Dom at home and just drive away. Why live only a quarter-mile at a time, when you can live your whole life that way?"

"Because I grew up, because I have a family that I love and that deserves the best of me"

"It's all bullshit, you'll see soon enough. Now, let's talk business" She said, patting the seat next to her "This is what's gonna happen . . ."
