~Peter POV~

"Kid, I need to talk to you about something..", Oh, that doesn't sound good.. I glance quickly at Mr. Stark before making my way towards him. "Yes, Mr. Stark- Sir..", I stutter at him, he sighed and looked at me intently.

"So remember that time when you told me that you loved Bruce Banner's books?", Bruce Banner? What does he have do to with this conversation. "Yes, Mr. Stark.", I nodded while having clear confusion at my face.

"Well, I think it's the right time to meet him."

Oh my gosh.. Meet him? THE Bruce Banner?!

"Oh my gosh, Mr. Stark I- Thank you..", I couldn't get any words out, I was about to meet my hero— other than Tony Stark of course— but my hero! I couldn't be more grateful..

"No need to thank me kid, you really are one of a kind and I'm sure you have great potential, which is why maybe when you get comfortable enough, you and Bruce could work on some projects together.", Mr. Stark spoke, this was really a dream come true. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I just stood there in shock while Mr. Stark observes me. "You alright kid?", He asks, thats embarrassing, I probably looked like a statue standing still for too long. "Yes, Mr. Stark, I'm sorry I'm just shocked- wow."

I've been trying to not show my excitement but Mr. Stark could see right through me.

"You ready kid?", Mr. Stark smirked, he looked like he was going to laugh at my excitement but if I was him, I probably would have laughed as well. I nodded at him and he signaled for me to follow him.

We made our way past the hallway, through the lower lever labs and into the elevator. Mr. Stark pressed Dr. Banner's floor and I was radiating nervousness. It was exciting at first but I'm not good at first impressions, what if he doesn't like me?!

"Do you think he will like me, Mr. Stark?", I ask him for reassurance, he looks down at me and puts his hand on my shoulder. "Of course Peter, who wouldn't like you?", He reassures me as we arrived on Dr. Banners floor. We walk out of the elevator and go towards the simplest yet coolest lab door I have ever seen.

He types in a code and the doors automatically open, revealing mounds of high-tech projects, weapons, and even suits. Wait, hold on— is that my spider suit? This is so cool! We stroll through the gadgets that probably took months to make, until we spotted Dr. Banner on one of the lab tables working on something.

This is my chance! I follow Mr. Stark and wait for him to do the speaking.

"Bruce, you have a visitor.", Dr. Banner looks at Mr. Stark and sees me behind him.

"Tony, who's this?", Dr. Banner asks. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh.

He stops what he's doing for a minute, while waiting for Tony to answer. Instead of him answering, I answer for myself instead. "Uh- Hi, Dr. Banner— Sir, I'm Peter Parker.", I step closer to him and bring out my hand, he shakes it.

I was internally freaking out, but for the sake of first impressions, I continue speaking.

"I'm a huge fan, Dr. Banner, Sir. Everything you do is so cool-", He looks at me and sighs, Oh no, that didn't sound like a good sigh. "Fan of the Hulk?", He asks. The Hulk?.. He's way better than the hulk!

"Well- the Hulk is cool, but I'm more of a fan about your work, I've read all your gamma radiation books and-", He cuts me off by saying, "You understood those books?"

I nod and smile. "Of course! You explained them so well, how could I not?", I spoke and he broke into a smile. He looks at Tony and Tony nods at him, this is such a cool interaction.

"You're a smart kid, Peter."

"Thank you, Dr. Banner!-", I said but was interrupted by a statement that I didn't think I would hear in my entire life. "Well, since you understand my books so well, you want to help me with this project? It isn't that hard, since all the instructions for it are in my book.", He points towards the project and it did seem familiar to me.

Maybe a try wouldn't hurt, "I mean, if you insist, Sir."

"Call me Bruce."
