Chapter 9: Hospital

<Bella's POV>

As I saw my sister got hit by the van, my mind went blank that I didn't saw the rear end of the van, coming towards me, the next thing I knew was that Edward was right beside me stopping the van with his hand from hitting me.

Right after he saved me, he quickly walked away before anyone could see him. Just then did I realized that the ambulance was already here, the others was persuading me to also lie down, but I wasn't even that injured so I told them that my sister would need it more than I do.

I was so worried about my sister, that I didn't realized that Jasper was following us to the hospital in his car.

As they put us in the waiting room, my sister was immediately brought in, because her head was bleeding, they said that they needed to perform an MRI to see if she has any internal bleeding in her brain, they were about to tell me more of her condition, but they sat me down first to also check on me, they we're already finishing up when dad came rushing in to my bed.

Dad was about to ask me some questions, when a new doctor came in and checked on me saying.

"I heard the chief daughters was here, Jacky I got this" he said smiling at me.

"So far no trauma or concussion a-" "How about my other daughter how is she?" Dad interrupted "So far no news yet, we are still waiting for the MRI results, but don't worry will do everything we can for your daughter" Dr. Cullen replied.

"Sorry Bella I tried to stop" Tyler said, "I know it's okay" I replied.

"No it is not okay look at what happened to your sister and it also put your life in danger" dad said looking at me, "You can kiss your license good bye" He told Tyler.

"My situation could be much worse if it wasn't for Edward" I said, "Edward? your boy?" he asked Dr. Cullen, which he only nodded to.

"Yea he got to me so fast, he wasn't even near me the whole time" I told them, he didn't even replied to me, only saying to dad that, "So far there just might be a little bit of shock, but that's completely normal in this situation"

Then Tyler started to apologize again just to be cut of midway by dad by sliding the curtains to create a separation within our beds, just then the MRI result for Ellie came in, and once Dr. Cullen took a look of the result he told Dad and I what her diagnosis is.

"So far there is no sign of internal bleeding on her brain, she got a hairline fracture but nothing we can't cure and its also not that bad, there is no need for an operation, but she did sprain her wrist and bruised her ribs, so as far as I know from my children she loves to cook and bake, and she also drives her own car, am I correct?" He asked looking at both dad and I. We only nodded as a response.

"Ok so I recommend that shouldn't drive or do any straining activities for her wrist because it might worsen its condition, so she only needs to rest for a month to make sure, everything will go smoothly. But for now we would like to keep her for the night, to keep an eye for her, she did have quite an impact when she fell down, just to be sure, that there won't be delayed bleeding internally" He said, which only made dad and I sigh I relief. Then he left to check on the other patients in his rounds.

"Alright for now I'll handle your hospital bills, so why don't you call your mom and explain the situation she might be panicking right now" Dad said right after Dr. Cullen left, which made me looked at him, "You told mom?!" I said.

"Yeah so call her, she knows how to worry unlike I" Dad said then walking away to got to the cashier to pay, as I was walking I heard arguing in the hallway, I got curious so when I got there it was Rosalie and Edward arguing.
