After knowing their secrets last night, I didn't think that it would change me entirely, but I was filled with the sense of accomplishment and overprotectiveness towards them.
-Flashback from last night-
"We're telling you did because we completely trust you, and we hope after this you won't change the way you think about us" Rosalie said, then he looked at Carlisle who just nodded at her.
"Ellie, me and my entire family are vampires." he said, I just looked at them and my mind just gone haywire from the information just told to me.
Then again as I processed what he said, 'it explained why their skin are cold as ice, and they didn't really eat until I started feeding them, why is that?', I thought.
After about a couple minutes of silence, I finally spoke, as I gathered my thoughts and the first question that went to my mind was.
"Why are you eyes gold, aren't vampires have red eyes and sharp fangs?" I asked looking at Carlisle.
"On our first few month as a newborn, our eyes are red, but they turn gold once we start consuming animal blood." he explained, "animal blood? you guys don't drink human blood?" I replied.
"No, we call ourselves a vegetarian" Emmet replied, I only thought 'well isn't that ironic' I sassed in my mind, making Eddie laugh. Which only made me look at him like he was crazy.
"Um why did you guys only started eating when I fed you the dishes that I made?" I asked looking at Jasper.
"Before you came, human food taste like shit to us Ellie" George said, earning a smack in the head by Rosalie, which he countered with "what its true" while rubbing his head.
"Darling, me and my family thinks its a part of your gifts while still human, because like what George said human food tasted disgusting to us, but after feeding us your food, we suddenly started to taste the flavor of each of the food you gave us." Jasper said explaining while holding my hand, suddenly feeling calm.
"Wait gifts, is that why I always feel calm when I'm with you?" I asked looking him.
"Yes, some vampires are given a gift like mine for example, I'm an empath, I can feel and control your emotions, but I only use it at when your nervous to calm you down" he replied, "Is there any other gifts that I should know or worry about?" I asked looking at the rest of them.
"I can control the dreams people can see when they sleep, even if they're awake I can suddenly make them have a daydream out of no where"
"I have super strength, stronger than a normal vampire"
"I can see the future, but it depends on one's decision"
"I can read minds"
"What about you guys don't you have any powers?" I asked, while looking at Rosie, Esme and Carlisle.
"Rose has the standard vampire package but has incomparable beauty like no other, Esme is like Rose, but instead of beauty she has immeasurable compassion for others." Carlisle replied.
"Carlisle has immeasurable self-control, even as a newborn" said Eddie.
"Wow, but won't you guys have any trouble telling me your secrets and won't my blood you know tempt you?" I asked, because they chose to be careful and keep it hidden for so long, why tell me after all of their hard work.
"Normally we wouldn't tell anyone, because there's a law when someone founds out about our secrets, they are either turned or killed" George said, I only replied "then why tell me?".
