"Shit, shit, shit! I'm late!". Y/n whispered-scream to herself as she entered the stadium where Inter High is gonna be held. People started to look at her as she dashed her way to her club's bench, Aoba Johsai.

"Sorry I'm late－ Irihata-san". She did not think of anything else but to immediately bow to their coach."It's fine but this won't happen again, understood?". Irihata said. "Yes, reassured....". Irihata nodded at Y/n and left them for a while.

Y/n sighed out of relief."You overslept again huh, probably busy reading those cringey stories on wattpad". Oikawa started, to tease Y/n which made her glare at him."Shut up and go do your stretching". She whispered in a pissed yet strict tone.

Y/n always had this temper, and the others would tease the person that is targeted.

The others started to laugh because of Oikawa's reaction, he looked like a little child that got provoked by a little girl, younger than him."Hmp! You need to control your god damn temper". He said emphasizing the word "You" to Y/n while stomping his way to where the others are already doing their stretching before the match.

You gritted your teeth for a second, 'cause a part of you agreed with Oikawa, this swearing a lot habit, she got it from her father. "Yo, Y/n-chan, you ready for later?". She furrowed her brows, confused at what Iwaizumi was trying to say. But her brows relaxed as soon as she understood what he meant.

"Oh, yeah...I think so". Y/n answered back in a soft tone. Iwaizumi meant the Karasuno High, they arele their opponents for later. Iwaizumi gave her a soft smile and headed to the others to warm up also.

She had a bad feeling about the Karasuno Volleyball team 'cause she knows someone that was planning on joining the Karasuno Volleyball Club.

Tsukishima Kei, her ex boyfriend from two years ago.

Y/n prepared their tumblers since the players are almost done warming up. As soon as they got to her, another Volleyball team arrives.

Orange and black uniform and one already caught her attention. Tall, blonde, wears glasses, a salty stare and a bandage tape around his ring and middle finger. No mistake that it was Tsukishima Kei.

They suddenly locked eyes and Y/n looked at him in a cold, mean, terror way. He did too as well. "Looks like our opponents are here". Oikawa said sounding bored out. "Don't underestimate them Oikawa-san, we don't know what they're capable of". Watari said, others nodded except for her and Oikawa.

Oikawa made eye contact with Karasuno's first year setter Kageyama Tobio, as soon as Kageyama looked at him too, Oikawa glared at him.

"Meh I don't really care, I'll just hit it until it breaks". He added, while smirking which made Iwaizumi face palm. "Are they late?". Kunimi asked. "For just a few minutes". Y/n said while looking at him.

"Hey, Y/n-chan do you know that tall guy with glasses? He's staring at you for sometime now".  Yutaro asked."Maybe she likes our pretty manager". Takahiro said in a teasing tone and she roled her eyes playfully at him.

Yeah...he's my ex boyfriend"

"YOUR WHAT?!". They all said loudly, shocked which made almost the whole stadium look at them. "Guys, people are staring at us...". She whispered and they all relaxed out of realization.

"Why didn't you tell us in the first place?". Kindaichi asked, in a worried yet slightly pissed tone.

"Guys, I understand why you all are worried but it's totally fine, I didn't tell you all because it was my own problem. I didn't want to drag anyone else into it". You reassured calmly and they all couldn't do anything but to just nod.

[ 2 years ago, 9th grade]

"What are your plans when you're in 10th grade?". Y/n asked her boyfriend Kei while he walks her home."I'm really not sure yet but I'm planning on joining the Volleyball club, what about you?". He asked in return.

Y/n gulped in fear because she can't say it to him, she can't say that she's changing schools in 10th grade because she and her family are moving out, causing her to change schools, Aoba Johsai High, the one that's close to their new home.

She tried to talk with her parents properly but still got rejected saying."You're too young to have your own apartment, you still can't take care of yourself properly and then you won't move out just because your boyfriend is here?".

I fought for him, right?

She tought.

She opened her mouth but no words came out, Kei noticed this and realized that she has something to say but something's stopping her from saying it. Instead, Kei wrapped an arm arlund her shoulders and moving her closer to him.

He put his other hand in the pocket of his pants before sighing."Tell me what you want to tell me". He said in a soft way. His girlfriend started to tear up, the reason why she stopped walking and which made Kei remove his arm around her shoulders.

"I...we...I think we have to end this". She said, tears falling down. Kei's eyes widened."What do you mean?". Kei asked, mixed emotions started to form inside his mind."We have to end this sooner, Kei, we're moving out when I'm in 10th grade, I'll be changing schools. I can't force my parents, you know that they also don't approve with our elationship".She said between her silent sobs, while looking down.

"What--- you think you, moving away here, with your family is not gonna make our relationship work out?". Kei asked in a soft yet disappointed tone. Y/n, who's still crying slowly nodded. "Bullshit". Kei swore in a much louder voice. It started to rain. Kei started to jogged away from her finally letting his tears fall as soon as he turned his back. Leaving the woman cry and get soaked in the rain.

After that, both didn't go to school for a lot of days 'cause of fever and maybe...love sickness. When they finally got back to school, they avoided eachother, tried to hide whenever one sees them first. They're both glad that they're not in the same class.

[ End of Flashback ]

"I bet you it was a cringey middle school l9ve story". Oikawa teased again, before bursting out of laughter as he held his stomach with his right hand.

"Tch". Y/n crossed her arms, trying to compose herself. She accidentally looked at the other side, where Karasuno is, there she saw Tsukishima Kei looking at her with his normal salty stare. She didn't hesitate to look away immediately.

She doesn't understand why a part of her likes getting stared at Kei which made her more pissed, Iwaizumi noticed this so he tapped her shoulder gently which made Y/n look at him, he smiled so she smiled back.

"You know that you should've told me what truly happened, right? I'm always free to listen to your problems, remember that". Iwaizumi said. "Thank you". Y/n said smiling and he nodded. "I never thought it happened like that, 'cuz. I'm sorry". Y/n just patted Iwaizumi's shoulder to reassure him.

The announcer suddenly spoke saying to get ready because the match is about to begin. Left side of the court is Aoba Johsai, right side is Karasuno.

The referee called the captains, Seijoh's captain, Oikawa Tōru. Karasuno's captain, Daichi Sawamura."Let's have a good match". They both said to eachother with a handshake, of course they mean it in a sarcastic way, their smiles too.

"Tails is Karasuno, heads is Aoba Johsai". The umpire stated and flipped the coin, it was heads."We'll be receiving".Oikawa said with a teasing tone."And I suppose we'll be serving first". Daichi replied and smirked.

"Line up!". Both teams lined up outside of their court. "Let's have a good match!". The players said while bowing, Tsukishima didn't bow that low and kept staring at his ex girlfriend. She noticed this, she didn't hesitate to look away

With a small frown forming on her brows, she can't help but feel her cheeks burn.
