"Damn you all to HELL!"

"C'mon kid, wake up!"

"Its all going to be okay.."

It was days since Nori underwent all of that surgery to replace his spine and weeks since I was admitted to a local Egypt hospital. Unlike me, his injury could be managed. Meanwhile, I was stuck in pain with any small move I made. I couldn't feel or move my legs. The doctor said I had been paralyzed from the waist down. Honestly, that's a surprise. With an injury like mine, my whole body should've been paralyzed. I'm fortunate to have my boyfriend and my brother with me in the hospital since there's no telling when we get out of Egypt. My chest was collapsed during the battle. Sadly, that injury was the only salvageable thing in me. As I lie there in bed, I suddenly remember how my own brother reacted to my injury.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Kujo, but your brother may never walk again."

Jotaro had said nothing and broke down sobbing. I couldn't help but cry with him. I was energetic and needed to move, but now I couldn't.

"I'm so sorry, Tyler.." he said to me.

"Don't be.." I said. "I was too into it. I only wanted to make you all proud..-"

"But you did, you always do." Jotaro said to me, stroking my hair.

Though I appreciated the statement, I disagreed. In my eyes, I was nothing compared to them. Just a bunch of dead weight. They would've been better off without me. Jotaro hushed me the moment I said that.

"Don't say that," Jotaro said. "You're everything everyone likes. Your the best little bro I could ask for."

As I remembered those words, I smiled. Jotaro made me happy since childhood. Our family was almost torn apart, well not our actual family. Our family figures. Avdol was dead, Iggy got torn in half in front of my eyes and now Nori's recovering and slowly slipping away from me. My promise was broken and all hopes were shattered. When Avdol died, everything changed in my mind. At least I had Polnareff, Jotaro, and Gramps.

I snapped out of my thought by both back pain and a knock on the door. Figuring it was a doctor, I simply let them in. My eyes lit up slightly when I saw my brother walk in.

"You sound depressed," he said to me.

"Thought you were a doctor," I said softly.

Jotaro had been there for me the whole time I was in the hospital. Him and Gramps had stayed with me the whole time. Polnareff stayed for a week before heading back home to France. My newfound Stand stayed in a tank near my bed so I could feed him. He saved me while I fought Forever after running away from his owner.

"Where have you been?" I asked Jotaro.

"Booking our flight," Jotaro replied.

I got excited. "We're going home??"

"Yep, mom's missed you and your cleared by the doctor."

"Get down here you sucko."

Jotaro bent down and I hugged him tightly. I've waited to see my mother for so long. After she got sick, I never thought going to Egypt to defeat Dio was the solution. I guess Stands do manifest quickly. First it was my mother the Speedwagon Foundation had to take care of and now me. Sometimes I wondered when they had enough of us.

As Jotaro and I packed our bags, Gramps waited outside for us. They had told him that my paralysis had improved but the damage was still done. I could only do as much as stand with assistance.  They weren't wrong, but I could only stand for seconds before going back down.

"Can you stand?" Jotaro asked.

"Depends, do you want me collapsing at your feet in 3 seconds?" I asked him.

Jotaro chuckled and carefully picked me up. He helped get me dressed, which is easier said than done. It's a painful process. Every small move matters. I could have a cane or a walker to help me move. However, I prefer listening to doctor's orders. At 15 years old, I'm never to walk again. As Jotaro put me in a wheelchair, he wheeled me outside to an excited Gramps. He supported me with every ounce of his being. He saw the first time my fighting spirit was released in me. He saw me fight Dio and showered me with pride, telling me how proud of me he was. I was his baby grandson and he spoiled me rotten.

"You boys ready to see your mother?" Gramps asked.

"Yup!" we both replied. Jotaro rarely showed his emotion but he was raring to get out of this country and back to Japan. I saw Nori come outside with a suitcase. He kissed me on the cheek and got behind my wheelchair. I was his only real body support to get him going after he got a prosthetic spine. He was also my emotional support since I had a fear of flying.

As we headed to the airport and got on the plane, Nori helped me get into my seat and held my hand. Ever since the last plane crashed into the sea with almost all of the passengers dead, I've been iffy about getting on a plane. With Nori, Gramps and Jotaro nearby, I felt more comforted, especially if another Stand user attacked us. Luckily, that wasn't the case and the flight went with ease.

We got to the airport and there my mother was waiting for us along with the Speedwagon Foundation. I guess they heard about my incident in Egypt if they were with my mother. She bent down to give me a kiss.

"Oh Tyler," she said. "Are you alright? What happened to you?"

"I injured my spine, mom," I replied. "I'm not gonna be able to walk, but I'm home now."

It got easier for us as we spent more time with each other. However, little did I know that my luck was going to change.
