Guide: On February 24th, Col. William Travis wrote this: "To the People of Texas, and All Americans in the World: Fellow Citizens and Compatriots... I am besieged, by a thousand or more of the Mexicans under Santa Anna. I have received continual bombardment and Cannonade for Twenty-four hours have not lost a man. The Enemy has wished a surrender at discretion, otherwise, the garrison is to be put to the sword, if the fort is taken... I have answered the demand with a cannon shot, and our flag still waves proudly over the walls. I Shall Never Surrender or retreat. Then, I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch—The enemy is receiving reinforcements daily & will no doubt increase to three or four thousand in four or five days. If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country—Victory or Death."

Wakko: He was brave... Very brave. Refusing a surrender at discretion!

Guide: Prior to that Letter being sent, when the Mexican troops arrived, they raised the Red "Flag of no Quarter".

Yakko: What's that supposed to mean?

Penelope: If they didn't surrender, they would all die because the Enemy did not intend to take any prisoners.

Guide: Hence, the Battle of the Alamo. Famous Names... Travis. James Bowie. Davy Crockett.

Wakko: The King of the Wild Frontier?!

Guide: Yes.

Wakko: Wow.

Guide: This Courtyard outside the chapel, is where they set up the fort. The Texan revolutionaries built Cannons to defend it. The Siege lasted for Days, and every day, Mexican Buglers would play "El Degüello", a Spanish Chant that means no mercy would be shown during the battle. It basically means to cut one's throat.

Yakko: They didn't seem too nice back then! Jeez!

Guide: Today, they would have been seen as War Crimes, but back then, it was still okay according to the Laws of War at the time. The siege lasted 13 days, and only a few more defenders came to the Alamo. Legend has it that on the day before the battle, Travis drew a line in the Sand with his sword, and said whoever crossed it would stand and fight. Anyone who didn't would be allowed to go home. All but one man crossed the line.

Wakko: Like I said before... Very brave to give their lives for the Price of Freedom from tyrants.

Guide: Indeed. We encourage you to see the Gift shop, read about the Battle in the Long Barracks, and always... Remember the Alamo.

Yakko: We will.

(They left after they finished the tour)

Dot: Very Interesting site indeed.

Penelope: Glad ya liked it. Now... Let's get to the manor.

(They reach it)

Penelope: Here we are. Pitstop Manor.

Yakko: It's beautiful.

Penelope: Let's see if my Mom is home. (Rings Door Bell)

Yakko: Petunia, Right?

Penelope: Yeah.

Yakko: How do we introduce ourselves?

Wakko: Just say, "Mrs. Pitstop, I presume?" Then, you can say who we are. "We're the Warner Brothers..."

Dot: Then I'll chime in with: "And the Warner sister." Then we'll say our names.

Yakko: Yep. Just Like Old Times.

Petunia: Why if it isn't my sweet daughter, Penelope Pitstop!

Penelope: Hi mom. Long time, No see.

Petunia: You scoundrel! Just who do you think you are?

Hooded Claw: It doesn't matter! What does is that I've caught you like a mouse in a mousetrap, and PS, you've got to get up pretty early to win Against "The Hooded Claw"! (laughs) Pandora, meet me at the Alamo.

Pandora: Right boss!

Petunia: You'll never get away with this, Sneekly!

Hooded Claw: Oh, won't I? Well, FYI, I already have my dear Petunia! (Laughs Maniacally) Now if you'll excuse me, I have a plane to catch!

Clyde: Darn it! The Claw's got the safe! What do we do?

Zippy: Penelope was taken too... And we're tied up.

Pockets: Don't Worry! I've come prepared!

(Pockets pulls something out)

What's that you've got there, Pockets?

Pockets: A genuine Swiss Army Knife! Never leave home without it!

(he cuts the rope)

Clyde: We're free! Let's get to Chuggaboom and hurry to the Alamo!

(they drive off)
